Hi! I'm Liv and I am an experienced cat-sitter preparing to move to the UK from California, USA in April 2024. Are you looking for someone to watch your home and furry baby while you're travelling this Spring and Summer? I'd love to speak with you!

I have been cat-sitting and housesitting via Meowtel, a US-based cat-sitting platform, since September 2022 but I have almost 16+ years of experience caring for all types of cats. Seniors, kittens, sassy or sweet - not to brag but I'm really good at caring for all of them. For me, caring for cats means understanding their needs inside and out, getting to know their personalities, and loving them unconditionally. Basically, I want to be the cat sitter I would want for my own cats! Knowing that every cats’ needs are taken care of and that they are happy and content is very important to me.

For example, my childhood cat Hobbes could sometimes be "sassy," as per his reputation at the vet but he was truly sweet and loving if you took the time to understand his very human moods. My other childhood cat Calvin was fickle and shy until he was sure he could trust you, and then it was belly-scratch and cuddle-central all the time! Knowing that every cats’ needs are taken care of and that they are happy and content is very important to me.

When it comes to house-sitting, my most important goal is to treat your home with the utmost care and respect. I am extremely tidy, take out the bins on-time, ensure that all washing up is handled as soon as possible, and do any hoovering/sweeping up as needed. As with your pets, I try to be the house-sitter that I would want to hire for myself. I will ensure that you receive lots of updates so you are well aware of what's going on. Open communication is very key!

Outside of my love for all furry friends, I enjoy hiking, swimming, and gardening. I will be in the UK legally and indefinitely and am happy to provide more details to you if you would like them. I look forward to speaking with you!
