Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a New Zealander that has just finished a postdoc position in Germany and decided to take the summer off to travel before heading home to my partner and fur babies!
I have a lot of housesitting experience. I spent 2021/2022 housesitting my way around Perth in Australia and absolutely loved it! Through housesitting I have made many new furry friends (cats, doggos, bunnies and chooks!) and met a lot of lovely people that invited me back for repeat sits, introduced me to their friends to sit for and even became good friends. Hopefully, having linked my Aussie housesitters account here all their reviews will be visible (if not I am happy to provide these).
I am an absolute cat lover who has 3 beautiful cats back in NZ, Sybil, Sebastian and Leo, who I miss heaps! Pictures of my babies are on my profile. I have had my fur babies since the day they were born and am very used to playing the role of human slave to our kitty overlords. So I am more than happy to spoil your fur babies!
I am a clean, quiet, non-smoker who knows how stressful it can be to find the right house sitter. As my partner and I also love to travel we have often found ourselves looking for housesitters to care for our cats through the kiwi housesitters site. I am happy to video chat/call or potentially meet in person before sits so we can get to know one another better. I can provide regular photos and updates of your fur babies whilst your away (getting these when I go away always put me at ease). I will be reliant on public transport so will not be able to take on any sit that requires a car.

Sarah is so wonderful! She came the day before to pick up the house key and have a tour, which was really appreciated. She took such good care of my house and Luna and Arlo. Really good communication and kept me updated with some cute pics. Definitely recommend as a sitter, thank you Sarah ☺️
It was such a pleasure to meet Sarah and her mum Cheryl and have them housesit for us. Sarah communicated well and sent pictures. It was clear that Tigger enjoyed her new companions.

Sarah was a fantastic housesitter who kept us regularly informed with photos of our cat and how content he was! Sarah notified us straightaway when the water corporation started digging on our front verge unexpectedly and obtained details for us. Sarah also looked after all our plants very well. Sarah was a brilliant house sitter. We were a bit hesitant to appoint a house sitter to look after our house and cats at first but after meeting Sarah our concerns were alleviated. She is a great person and has a great affection for pets. After almost three weeks away over a scorching Perth summer we came back home to find all of our plants and gardens were thriving and our two cats had been very spoilt and cared for. If you get the chance to have Sarah house-sit for you, grab her while you can because she will be the best sitter you could possibly ask for. Sarah is a lovely person and fantastic house-sitter. She was especially great with communications, sending me regular pictures of my obviously happy cats. I would be very happy to have her take care of them again.
Sarah has sat for me twice in the past year, looking after my cat and dog. She is spectacular! Such a nice person and a wonderful pet sitter.

Sarah is a beautiful person. She has such a pleasant vibe and upon first gathering there was no doubt in my mind that she was the perfect fit for our fur babies. it was so lovely and reassuring to receive photo updates while we were away. I would 1000% recommend Sarah as a house sitter!
Sarah was fabulous. My cats loved her, even the shy skittish cat. Sarah sent me daily updates of the girls and they both looked very content.The house was immaculate on my return and Sarah had navigated its quirks well. Sarah was an amazing housesitter. Our cats loved her. The communication was excellent. She would update frequently with photos so we could relax on our holiday knowing the cats and the house are in good hands. She was very respectful of our home and left it in an immaculate condition. We highly recommend Sarah and would love to have her again for our next getaway.
