Mila & Derek

Hi, we are Mila and Derek, a friendly couple and experienced housesitters happy to look after your pets while you are away. We live in Marlow (Buckinghamshire) and love nature, animals, long walks and exploring new beautiful places. Mila works as a counsellor and psychotherapist and Derek is retired and enjoys cycling, climbing, long-distance walking, reading and learning.

We are looking for house and pet sitting opportunities in different parts of the country.

Here are some of the things we are good at:

- Caring for cats, dogs, hamsters, chinchillas, ponies and more (we haven’t met a pet crocodile yet!)
- Looking after your plants and house (Derek is a keen gardener and handyman)
- Adapting to your needs and schedule (we are happy to do our best to work around your plans and preferences)
- Taking your dog(s) on exciting walks

We are flexible and adaptable, with a couple of our own requirements that we hope you can meet:

- Ability to go on long walks and explore the area (we love nature and adventure!)
- Good internet with a stable connection so that Mila can work with her counselling clients online.
