We need a house sitter

West Wales & The Valleys - Merthyr Tydfil

Sarah

Sitting on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, with views over Merthyr and to the distance is Pen y Fan the highest mountain in South Wales.
We have a 4 bedroom bungalow (bed 4 is my study) which is hidden from the road, a large driveway which has shared access and an enclosed garden.
We have a veranda out the back which is fabulous when the weather is warm. Sliding doors enable it to be a room in the garden, but can also be a room to watch the rain!
We would appreciate house sitting as well as pet feeding as we will be away on holiday.
We have cctv outside the home but no cameras operational inside.
We have one cat who isn't used to strangers but adjusts quite quickly. He is a large cat and likes to be fed twice a day but eats quite a lot!
Two dogs - German Shepherd who is a bit nervy and a Westie who loves everyone! For a short site they wont need walks.
All we would request in addition to cat feeding is that the bungalow is left as you found it.
We are more than happy for the sitter to come the day before, to settle in and meet the pets and have included this in the date range..

I had an amazing time in this beautiful part of Wales. Sarah and Mike were so kind and beyond generous. You are very lucky if you get to house sit here! Squeak and Flash are cutie pies and so easy to look after. I could not recommend it highly enough! Thanks Sarah & Mike :)

I was warmly welcome into the house from Mike and Sarah Masie and Tavi and Flash. Communication was good throughout the week. The pets constantly showed me affection when ever i came in from being out. Thanks guys for a restfull week. I would recommend this sit.

Merthyr is on the edge of the Brecon Beacons plenty to do in the area. The home is spacious with ample room to do anything. Sarah and Mick were perfect hosts. They put up Christmas decorations and supplied a beautiful Christmas dinner and Treats. The Log burners and the cottage style kitchen added to the charm of the place where we spent a cosy Christmas, and relaxed in the jacuzzi.
