We understand that this has been a challenging year for many. With restrictions easing, domestic travel is becoming an option for people again which means members of our house-sitting community can once again travel. However, it is extremely important that we do this in a safe way.
If you are on a house sit, or need a house sitter, please ensure you follow physical distancing and hygiene protocols. This means on a house sit, the home must be thoroughly cleaned by the owner at the commencement of the sit, and then cleaned thoroughly by the sitter at the end of the sit.
If a sitter or owner has any symptoms, even mild ones, make sure you get tested and then stay home while waiting for the results.
It is important to remember that this is only temporary. There will come a time where we can travel freely again. We understand the impact this has on you as part of our house-sitting community and the uncertainty you may be feeling given the current health crisis.
In the meantime, stay safe by keeping up to date with any current restrictions and health measures : https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do-after-4-july
Our house-sitting community will get through this and go on to thrive again, safely.
Please know that you can contact us if you have any questions or need assistance at any time. As a community we will get through this together and go onto many more travel adventures.
