We are experienced fit and active non smoking sitters who have looked after homes and animals for over 20 years. We are now professionals, who are insured and have DBS certificates, who may charge depending on your location and the animals you would like us to take care of. We have a Facebook page. We have decided not to walk strong, reactive dogs, both for our safety and theirs.
We have looked after caravan sites over Xmas and they left us in charge of their dogs and cats. We have also looked after a closed b&b and stayed in a large static caravan, as well as gated estates and everything in between. We have looked after a huge variety of dogs, from chihuahuas to 3 Irish Wolfhounds, and as keen walkers we can happily walk up to 5 -10 miles a day with younger or more boisterous dogs. A previous sit (August 2016) was for 3 dogs, a cat and 2 Geckos. However we discovered we don't wish to look after any of the reptile families in future! We can now add chickens, sheep and 2 pet pigs to our animal experience. We are very flexible and as a retired couple would not have other commitments to work around.
We are happy to look after your home and garden as though it was our own, and our home owners usually say the house is cleaner than they left it!
We can provide references and have current DBS certificates for your peace of mind. We don't mind where we stay, as we regard every new experience as an adventure, so please ask us as we aim to please.

Sie and Rob provided excellent care for our three cats and our home. Their level of communication before and during the sit was perfect. Our welcome home to a spotless house and happy pets included a pot of homemade soup thoughtfully prepared for our return after a mammoth journey. Highly recommended.
Sue and Rob were great from the beginning with great communication and asked all the right questions. They came to our house the night before the sit for dinner, a get to know you and a handover. I felt immediately at ease with them and felt our home and cat were in extremely capable hands.
Whilst we were on holiday Sue was very proactive with messaging updates and generally keeping us in the loop about Charlie, our cat.

Sue and Rob are fantastic house sitters, I cant recommend them highly enough. Echo was very well looked after, she was relaxed and happy upon our return and the house was tidier and cleaner than when I left it! Sue and Rob are very friendly, trustworthy and helpful. I would definitely have them house sit again.
We were so happy with the way the sit went from start to finish. Sue and Rob had obviously read the document I sent explaining who get fed what and when, and the medication for our elderly Labrador and about the quirks of our house. They asked for some time before we left to go through things and had lots of relevant questions regarding the rambling pages I had put together and wanted to see in person about the geckos.
