Hi, I'm Rosie, based in Wiltshire & I've recently retired from a career as a nanny & maternity nurse. During Covid I trained & worked as a vaccinator. I've worked in numerous different houses, many with pets, I am calm & practical & very adaptable to new situations.

I love all animals & have loved & cared for many dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs & hedgehogs. I have also had experience with larger mammals including alpacas, sheep & pigs, also with chickens & other fowl. I am happy to feed reptiles & arachnids, but wouldn't want to handle them!

I have house & pet sat for friends & families I have worked for & understand how difficult it is to leave pets while you go away & the importance of knowing that they will be safe & happy staying in their own home. I will also make sure they have lots of fun & cuddles.

I used to foster puppies while caring for 4 of my own dogs. I now have a very calm, non shedding labradoodle who will sometimes sit with me if permitted.

I am a keen gardener & love nature & the outdoors & walking whatever the weather. I like to visit gardens opened up through the National Garden Scheme.

I am a non smoker, trustworthy & will care for your pets & home as I would my own.

Rosie was a great house and pet sitter. Our dog was very well looked after and she enjoyed spending time with her dog. The house was left clean and today and we had lots of communication and pictures while we were away. Would definitely recommend Rosie and we will be asking her back when we go away again.

Rosie was a brilliant sitter. All the animals loved her —the dogs warmed to her immediately— and the house was clean and tidy when I got back. I would have Rosie back in a heart beat.

We went away feeling totally relaxed that Rosie was in charge of our house and 3 dogs. Previous to the sit, her communications was always excellent and she kindly came over twice to learn the ropes etc. Our house is old and full of strange foibles and she coped with power cuts and mini floods admirably! We returned home to an immaculate house and 3 very happy and settled dogs. Rosie is a wonderful person and I would not hesitate to recommend her!

I can’t rate Rosie highly enough. She sent us pictures of the dogs throughout and we were assured our dogs were very happy. Our home was clean and tidy on our return and the dogs clearly had a great time.

Rosie provided excellent care for our border collie during our week-long holiday abroad; a scenario where one truly wants to be at ease, and we were. She is friendly and professional, a delight to have a chat with, and it was easy to see she, as she had informed us, has tons of experience with a variety of breeds/dogs and their needs. Wonderful Rosie was the ideal Housesitter for our house and animals. Proof was the fact that our wary Bernese happily walked with her every day and the gekko was cossetted. We got lots of lovely photos and reports and will ask her again as our first choice in future.

Rosie did a fantastic job looking after Leo, we came home to a very content cat! We met Rosie in advance - we had a lovely coffee and chat with her before we left and found Rosie really easy to get on with. We had some lovely photos of Leo whilst away!
