Hi, I'm Cat and yes, I do love cats too.

I am a professional cat sitter, which means I am DBS checked and fully insured.

I have not been on the housesitter.co.uk site for a couple of years as I have been setting up my business in London, but I am looking forward to traveling a bit again, especially for long weekends.

I am UK and New Zealand citizen.
I am OK to travel around the UK for the right sit.
I am 57 years old.

In my first year with housesitters I had sits in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Scotland in general. In my second year I was sitting in Truro (during first lockdown), Oxfordshire and London.

I love to travel, obviously, and have worked in UK as a teacher and NHS manager and in NZ as real estate salesperson. I am currently Practice Manager at a GP Surgery in West London.

I was house sitting in Belgium before coming to the UK.
I love to walk and run (read jog!) and got around mostly by bike or public transport. I do not have a car. If you have a bike I can borrow, that would be grand.
I am a vegetarian and non-smoker.

I'm super happy with Cat. She was extremely good with Sophie and even noticed when that something wasn't right with her when going to to the toilet. She walked to the vets and paid for the medication until I was able to return the funds. Cat kept in contact frequently and put my mind at ease. The plants in my home have been well watered and look better now than when I left. The house was very clean and in perfect condition when I arrived home. Cat was a truly fantastic house sitter, she cared for my cat wonderfully (Hestia seemed so happy, calm and healthy when we got home). Cat left my house incredibly clean, much cleaner than I manage to get it myself! I was away for a month and unexpectedly lots of electric work had to be done in my building and the factors changed the downstairs locks. Cat was fantastic and arranged everything. Cat was always easy to get in touch with, I just cannot recommend her enough!

Cannot recommend. This person is definitely not a dog sitter and is not reliable. We came back from holiday and our dog was injured and she hadn't even noticed. She had no idea how to even walk a dog off lead. Also, she proved highly unreliable....we came back from holiday and plants dead due to not having been watered, house was a mess, food rotten in fridge. At the end of her stay she didn't want to leave and things became difficult. BEWARE.

I was so bad that they asked me to stay for a further time. Only after that, when the favour was for me, I became Bad Housesitter. I'll take my 1-star and be happy that I never have to see these people again
Delighted to give Cat 5 stars all round. She was great with Zorro, took great care of him including giving him meds, and he was a very relaxed and happy cat when we came home. Cat was great at sending updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Tatties and garden also kept well watered! And the house was in great nick too. All round, highly recommended.

Cat looked after my pets very well and left the house very clean on our return. She is a natural around the pets. She communicated throughout the stay, as well as before and after the sit, sent photos and videos and relevant questions when necessary. I'd recommend using her services.

Cat did a stirling job looking after our house and pets. She kept us informed with regular updates whilst we were away which gave us peace of mind. The house was kept clean and tidy and she even managed without a car despite us being quite remote. Would be happy to recommend Cat to other house owners looking for a reliable friendly sitter.

Cat looked after our two cats, chickens, peacocks and the house for a week when we were away. We were able to meet her before our holiday and we knew straight away that we could leave without worrying about our animals. We would definitely recommend Cat and hope she can house sit for us in the future!

No rating Great to have look after Flower, Rosie and our chickens. Warm and friendly with a positive attitude. Really couldn't have been happier I couldn't recommend her any more highly. Our doggies are quite big and Flower is particularly lively but Cat managed beautifully. If your animals need a bit of extra care or attention she would not let you down. Good luck Cat. Thank you!
