Hello! I am a caring, responsible and experienced householder, and have been the go-to house and pet-sitter for a number of friends for years (happy to give you references!)
After 15 years in Berlin I have now returned to the UK to spend more time with my parents (in Bromley, Kent). As they are, thankfully, fit and well, I have time for my creative projects, and to explore walks and hikes in different parts of the UK, hopefully whilst looking after your home and pets.
I get to know animals in a calm, gentle way, but once we have a good, trustful connection it's all about affection and play.
I have recently looked after cats and dogs in their homes, but also have experience of small mammals (rabbits, hamsters, mice etc), as well as outdoor animals like ducks and chickens. I loved horses as a child and would like to spend more time with equines.
I'm able to give your animal companion all the love and attention he or she needs, and keep your house and garden in good order so that you can enjoy complete peace of mind while you're away.
I very much like to exchange on a money-free basis and this works well for most cat-sits and sits involving smaller animals, where I can enjoy the accommodation to go walking the area, and carry on my work alongside fulfilling your pet’s needs.
For dog-sits and animals needing more interaction and daily care (especially multiple dogs with diverse daily needs, and/or sensitive temperaments) I now charge a fee of around £25/2 dogs overnight. This is, however, negotiable on an individual basis. Let’s talk about it!
Very reasonable travel expenses are also extra.
