Recently retired Paul and Debbie are now free to give your pets and home all the care and attention they require. Based in Oxfordshire, we are a non-smoking, fit and active married couple looking forward to travelling around the UK, enjoying our retirement walking, cycling and having the opportunity to discover all that the UK has to offer.

We are a responsible, trustworthy, well organised couple who will keep your home clean and tidy and ready for your return. As keen gardeners we are happy to do some light tidying and watering of your pots and borders and mow the lawn. Also, as a competent DIY-er, any issues, should they occur, can be dealt with quickly and effectively.

We don't have any pets at the moment, although between us, in the past, we have cared for our own cats, dogs, rabbits, fish and chickens. We would be very happy to care for your home, cuddle your cats and have the pleasure of one or two (two maximum) well trained dogs accompany us on our walks. We always walk the dogs that we care for on a lead.

We will take your wishes and instructions seriously and, for your peace of mind, we can provide regular updates enabling you to relax and enjoy your holiday.

We would welcome this opportunity to look after your home and pets, caring for and loving them as if they were our own.

We certainly fell on our feet finding Paul and Debbie. Having never used house sitters before we were a bit concerned but needn't have worried at all! Paul and Debbie are lovely, considerate people and so great with the dogs, which was our main concern. They arrived ahead of time so that we could get to know them a little and we all walked the dogs together before our late evening flight. Paul & Debbie took great care of our three cats and of our house and garden. They were so good with our cats that even our grumpy one took to them. They left the house immaculate and communicated with us every few days sending photos of the cats and making sure we did not have to worry about a thing. It was great to know everything was in very trusty hands.

Paul and Debbie were the perfect Housesitters. The exchanges we had prior to their arrival was informative and an indication of their reliability. I think my house was in a better condition on my return (!)- and I so enjoyed the photos of my dog having a whale of a time while I was away. Their careful custody of the house was impressive - security etc. It made such a difference to my holiday to know I could relax in the assurance that all was well.

We were a little nervous trying another house sit from this website as the couple who came to us in October weren't a great success but we really lucked out with Paul & Debbie! It sounds like we go on hols all the time but we really don't. :-) Which means when we do get to go away, it's a relief to know everything is in good hands. On arrival they were pleasant and friendly, and we knew it was going to work out well.
