Hello! We are Esther and Doreen and we live in Birmingham. We have 3 cats of our own and Doreen's daughter looks after them whenever we are both away. We also walk dogs for our less able-bodied friends in Birmingham. We love having lots of animals in our life.

Esther was pet-sitting in Australia for 3 years. That's how we got started on Housesitters UK. We have started pet-sitting together and we really enjoy it. We can do assignments as a couple or just Esther on her own. (Doreen doesn't drive.)

We are non-smokers. Doreen is vegetarian and Esther is vegan. We are well organised and can be flexible around dates. We are very respectful of people's homes, which we leave clean and tidy. We will give your pets lots of love and caring affection.

Happy to talk about arranging a meeting beforehand - almost anywhere in the UK would be considered, especially if it's within a few hours' drive of the Midlands.

It was an absolute delight to have Esther staying in my home with my two cats. Communication was efficient and easy from the outset, as Esther & Doreen were able to visit to meet the cats before the sit. They are kind, considerate, and thoughtful. As cat owners themselves, they understood the need for reassurance and sent daily pictures and videos to put my mine at ease. It was a pleasure having Esther and Doreen look after our 2 cats. One cat required daily medication, at set times, and this was no bother to them. Esther and Doreen were friendly, warm and extremely competent, sending us photos and little updates throughout our holiday. We returned to a clean home, some little treats (a huge thank you ladies) and most importantly, happy, healthy well cared for cats. Would be delighted to have both you ladies back. Would highly recommend.

Esther and Doreen were a delight to have as Housesitters. Our furry family were so well looked after by them and we felt really confident to go away. Esther house sat for us it was a bit last minute as we had been let down by another sitter. Esther came on her own and we where really happy with her as soon as we met her. She looked after our dog and cat also 4 chickens. Esther gave us daily updates via WhatsApp while we were away. Her communication with us was fantastic. Esther has just finished a two week house sit for us. During her stay at our home, she cared for our elderly cat Jesse. When we first met Esther, we were comfortable immediately about leaving our Jesse and our home in her care. Have to say, that she exceeded all our expectations. We received regular updates photos and videos of our furry boy, and it was obvious that he had taken to her easily and quickly. Esther was lovely she was a great communicator . She looked after everything as requested the place was clean and tidy my cat was happy, it was the first time for me having someone I didn't know in my house but I felt very comfortable after meeting Esther and would recommend her highly.

Esther looked after Lucy my Unit and my cat Lucy for 2 weeks. The whole process was easy Esther came and did a meet and great and we confirmed to go ahead. While away Esther sent photos of Lucy keeping me informed of how they were getting along.
