Hello.

We are Don and Sara, a retired (from IT jobs) couple living on the south coast of Hampshire.

We retired about four years ago. During this time our little poodle became less mobile and more home-loving so our trips away became rarer and rarer. Sadly, Rudy is no longer with us and it's much too soon for us to consider another pet. We've therefore decided that house sitting would be ideal for us - we get to visit different parts of the country and we also get to enjoy the company of pets whilst we are away. Lovely!

Before Rudy we used to have a cat (Oscar, named before Oscar became a trendy pet name!) so we know all about caring for both cats and dogs. In fact, we have both lived with cats and dogs all our lives.

We are outdoors people during the day and love taking dogs for country walks. We don't tend to go out much during the evening so this will be prime time for playing with cats, if they manage to wake up!

We will arrive by car and will be happy to help with lifts to stations, airports etc. We both have full, clean driving licenses.

We do not smoke and we only drink when we go out.

Really friendly and brilliant housesitters. They sent us regular updates that kept us reassured everything was okay with the house and pets. They were clearly engaged with the process, asking us questions when appropriate, and also helpfully dealing with some unexpected deliveries at the house. Most importantly though they clearly loved animals, took care of the house and left us feeling very happy that things were in safe hands.

Absolutely top drawer. Very caring and empathetic. We knew as soon as we met them both that Dexter was in very good hands. They left the house in an immaculate condition. They'd fed the birds, stripped the bed, washed the linen and towels. They were wonderful and we would definitely like to get them in again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Don & Sara are 1st class Housesitters. They are reliable & trustworthy took great care of our dog & 2 cats & the house was pristine on our return. Don and Sara are a delightful couple who could not be faulted at all. They were amusing in their updates and I had not the slightest worry. I am not sure that the dogs even missed me at all. I would be more than happy to have them again - I really could not wish for better.
