Hi, although it'd be mostly me in charge of arrangements, we are a family of animal lovers, mostly pooch house sitting. We like to feel at home wherever we go & love exploring new areas of countryside & meeting folks. We've dabbled in goose, chicken, duck, ponies & pig feeding, and live by a beef farm!
I'm Christina, the main homesitter, as a writer can be flexible on location! Usually accompanied by Arthur age 11 on half term trips. He mostly reads & occupies Ernie🐶: our v well trained young shorted haired border collie (who does not shed & gets on with other pets).
My husband Ian does tree work, and used to be a dairy farmer.
Our daughter is training to be a vet, so she pops in with her expertise! As mostly adult family, we have our own vehicles as required.
Our teenage lad is a student historian and keen on mowing, he often stays home, and is Ernie's main trainer, but sometimes joins us if there's room!
We've house sat for various breeds dalmatian, smaller dogs, and met some lovely cats, we had kittens as newly weds (ages ago!)
Happy to chat on phone & visit in advance if this is useful!
