Paul and I have gained a wealth of experience house-sitting for several years within UK, France, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

We are retired from teaching, so having no work commitments allows us to dedicate ourselves to the pets, homes and gardens we are entrusted.

Our house sitting placements have been interesting and varied including caring for dogs, cats, fish, small aviaries, poultry, donkeys and pet pigs. We have been responsible for maintaining a commercial smallholding, undertaken home decoration projects and worked on an artisan food stall during the owner's absence, in addition to general household and garden upkeep.

Being home owners and having raised a family of 4 we're well versed in the necessary skills required in caring for a home, garden and nurture of various pets. We are non-smokers, fit, active, hold clean driving licences and have always taken pride and pleasure in general gardening and home maintenance.

Probably the best assurance and recommendation we can give to anyone who appoints us is that we have many home/pet owners who have repeatedly asked us to do return house sits.

We provide house sitting on a purely reciprocal basis with no exchange of monies expected from either party. For the opportunity to enjoy your home and surrounding environs, we promise to give love and care to your pets, security and upkeep of your house and garden and provide you with updates during your absence.

We are particularly interested in any house-sitting opportunities which are in excess of 4 weeks duration.

Any home owner can be confident that we will deliver high standards and attention to detail which may allow them to totally relax whilst they are away.

Karen and Paul exceeded all our expectations. Their considerable experience of house sitting and easy manner provided us with a lot of confidence as we set off on our 3 week vacation. They clearly know how to manage dogs and get their obedience. Our dog was obviously happy with her new guardians and missed them when they left. Our particular requests were that they looked after our hens which needed daily attention and kept an eye on watering parts of our garden and various pot plants as required. Lovely people. They did a great job.They are obviously experienced sitters who were perfect in every way. We had regular pictures of Badger and messages about home, They were flexible with dates as the airline changed our schedule twice and we came home to a gleaming house and happy dog! We couldn't have wished for more!

We were really lucky that Karen and Paul were available to look after our house, garden and cat! They were very easy to communicate with, and very friendly. They waited patiently whilst we were trying to get ourselves and our 2 year old out of the house. They left the house immaculate and looked after our garden very well during a hot spell. Would not hesitate to book them again for another house sit. Highly recommended!

Paul and Karen are very caring to both the house and our cats and dog. We were kept regularly updated on events and any problems were quickly dealt with for us. We will definitely use their services again and are highly recommended Our plans changed whilst we were away but Paul and Karen kindly acccomodated us for the extra week. Very reassuring to know our house and pets are in such good hands.

Karen and Paul looked after our cat and home recently and were brilliant, even going the extra mile to collect our cat from neighbours who had been looking after her for a few days and keeping us posted with updates on how she was. They left the house spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend.

Karen and Paul looked after Dylan (our Springer) for 6 weeks from Jan-March 2017 and Jan-March 2019. We were so lucky to have found them for our first holiday to New Zealand in 2017 and so pleased they were able to 'sit' for us again in 2019.
