Hiya there!
I'm a 38 year old, fit and healthy, experienced house and animal sitter..
I consider myself an open minded soul with an explorative nature who very much likes his own company and that of all animals, nature, and perhaps lastly, people... half kidding ; )
I moved away from my cottage and work in May '22, where I'd been working for a vintage clothing events company with my own small business on the side.
Prior to that I worked as an organic grower in Cornwall, UK, followed by setting up a community CSA project at Stanford Hall, south Leicestershire.
I have a casually renovated van to allow me to travel around with and without any furry new friends. It's also of use for any current landscaping work and with potential future business ideas i have.
I'm a well travelled soul whilst studying along the way and the freedom to explore and experience new places with house sitting has always been a fun and practical arrangement for myself and homeowners. Getting to meet different people, sharing stories and of course, many amazing animals in often beautiful and quirky landscapes!
When not studying I really just love to be outside, walking, swimming, exploring alone or with dogs, nestled in with cats, wild food foraging, growing foods and herbs etc
I'm available for a chat, skype or whatever whenever so we could meet and be comfortable with it all.
I have on many occasions over the years looked after animals and have been trusted with peoples homes, gardens, businesses, all manner of tasks and responsibilities.
My sitting days actually originated many moons ago whilst living and travelling abroad. In those days it was with another site Mindmyhouse but equally served as a great experience throughout Europe and Australia.
I also have an account and profile on Rover.com which is specifically a paid house and animal exchange.

From the first contact with Greg we felt confident in leaving our beloved Daisy dog in his care.
Communication was great throughout and Greg sent regular updates and photos of Daisy having fun and going on lovely walks.
It was clear when we got home that daisy very much missed him.
We would definitely ask Greg to look after her again .
Greg was once again an amazing sitter for our dog and cat. Boo has such a lovely time with him on long coastal walks, which gives me peace of mind while I’m away. I can’t recommend him enough.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Greg to come and look after our house and our boxer Jeff whilst we went on holiday. We came home to an immaculate home and a very happy dog! He got spoilt rotten with his walks, cuddles and attention. We had regular updates and videos whilst we were away and felt relaxed that Jeff was being looked after in his own home. Would highly recommend Greg to anyone for dog sitting.
Greg was a very competent house sitter; Cared for my hens, looked after my beloved Ellie, took me to the station. His Mother joined him as they did not spend a lot of time together and this was a good opportunity. No hesitation in recommending him.l

Greg was a joy to have as a sitter - He was relaxed, and Archie was very happy in his company, communication was really good and the house was well looked after. Would definitely recommend him, and be happy to have him sitting again.
This was our first house sit with a "stranger" so we were nervous! Well, Greg may have been a stranger at the start but we ended the sit as family. He took absolute care of our home and animals as if they were his own. Ours isn't an easy place to live in the winter and Greg coped beautifully and even thrived! I couldn't recommend a Greg highly enough and I can't wait to have him back.
Greg was absolutely amazing.It was so lovely to meet him and know he would really care for Pickle, the dog and visiting cats. Great to have his energy in the house which he left so clean and tidy.

We were extremely comfortable having Greg in our house and looking after Dexter. Greg was super friendly and very communicative, sending frequent photos of Dexter. While we were away, one of our patio windows cracked and Greg handled this really well. It was through no fault of his, due, we think to the extreme weather conditions. Greg is a really interesting guy and completely reliable. We would definitely like to use Greg again next year.
Greg is the ideal house sitter, he treated our home with respect and care as if it was his own, leaving it perfectly clean and tidy. Most importantly he looked after our animals brilliantly. Our cat is still trying to find him a week later and our dogs still look for him just before they go out for a walk. We came back to very happy ( fitter and thinner) dogs, purring cat, content chickens and a well-kept allotment. Greg regularly updated us on his furry adventures. Can't wait to have him back ... MORE

We couldn't have asked for a better experience from our first time using a house sitter. Would highly recommend Greg, he put us at ease from the very beginning. Was so accommodating with all the arrangements, going over and above for our pets, our dog Milo may actually have been disappointed when we got back as he'd had so much fun with Greg. Greg has a lovely kind and caring nature. Right from the start I felt completely at ease leaving him in charge of my home. My doberman, Luna loved him instantly and enjoyed having him to stay.....I think she was actually sad for a couple of days after he left.
Can't recommend Greg enough and would definitely ask him to return.
Gregs housesit was for 9 days and we can highly recommend him. Greg was very accommodating and arrived the night before our early morning departure so we could meet him, and introduce the dogs. The dogs were looked after very well, and obviously grew very fond of him! House and garden were care for, and house was left clean and tidy. Greg was wonderful. From start to finish he was reliable and quick with communication. He has a wonderful, calm nature which is ideal for our location, being somewhat tucked away and peaceful. He evidently enjoys the company of the dogs (and cats) and I am thrilled to have seen them all so happy in messages and videos. He even finished off some planting in the garden that I run out of time for. Would 100% recommend, but I'm hoping he won't get too busy so he can come back here again!
Greg was a fantastic house sitter. We met the first day and went for walk together, Greg put us completely at ease and we had total confidence in his ability to care for our animals and home. The dogs were very well exercised and even the mid-week cat toilet accident didn't phase him, handled like a pro! Great communication throughout and just a very positive experience. Greg is a very caring and kind young man who made sure that our elderly Labrador was very well cared for. We returned at Xmas to find some lovely hand made wreaths and in March to some excellent home made nut butter. Glad that Greg enjoyed our quiet rural environment.
Greg took care of our home and many pets over Christmas. He was easy to chat to, trustworthy and my dogs loved him - they were sad to see us return! The planning and trip both went smoothly and I've already asked him to sit again for us in the summer.
Brilliant house sitter who cared for my fur balls and house wonderfully. And with good humour, when my Ocado shop arrived early!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
