52, Hospital Manager
I am hospital manager in the NHS. I have two grown daughters. I have lived in a rural area on a farm for most of my adult life. We have always had pets, labradors, cocker spaniels, working collies, cats, hamsters, ferrets. etc.
I have experience of puppies from birth.
As my daughters are now more independent I'm interested in travelling more and house sitting seems a good option to see a bit more of the UK and the world. When travelling on my own, house sitting provides a good balance of free time and focus. I really like the company of animals but my working life doesn't enable me to have pets of my own at the moment, house and pet sitting allows me to have plenty of quality time with lots of different pets and animals.
I also have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, reptiles, ferrets, sheep, hens and ducks. I am confident walking dogs, experience of up to 7 at a time, as well as providing positive reinforcement and plenty of affection. I have cared for families and friends pets on a number of occasions in my own home. I have working experience of housekeeping.
I am capable, competent, reliable and tidy. I am used to managing a team of 20 + people and am able to problem solve in most situations. I will be respectful of your home and care for your pets and animals as I would my own, with calm and affection.
