I've been house and pet-sitting for over 15 years and really love my nomadic way of life. Every new sit is a little adventure!

I love spending time with and caring for animals. I've sat for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and fish, as well as just houses.

I am a tidy and respectful sitter, and will communicate and provide photos as much or as little as wanted.

I'm happy to water inside and/or outside plants, but my fingers are definitely more 'furry' than 'green'! 😆

I have pet-sitter's insurance and an enhanced DBS (police) check.
I don't have a car at the moment, but can drive.
I am vegetarian, but am happy to sit in non-vegetarian households.
I don't smoke (or vape).

Aside from being a sitter, I work part-time for a national charity, with disabled and neurodivergent young people. This work is mostly done remotely, so fits well with living as a sitter.

I arrange most of my sits independently; either with long-term regulars or through recommendations. I have used this site when I have had gaps, and have made some lovely new furry friends through it. 🐾

However, I now need to bring sits booked through this site in line with those booked outside of it, to ensure I am providing a fair and equitable service.

For that reason, from April 5th 2024, I will be charging for sits booked through this site.

It is really important to me that my basic rates are reasonable, and I am told that they are. I am also happy to discuss a reduced rate for anyone who has low income or is experiencing financial challenges.

So, if you contact me about a potential sit and I am available for it, I will include my basic rates in my initial reply for you to consider.
