Douglas looked after my Labrador, Rosco, and cat, Oliver, for 6 weeks when I had to travel away at short notice. I was very comfortable leaving my pets and house in his care and always enjoyed speaking to him.

The animals were well cared for and happy with Douglas, and the house was very well looked after. Contact while I was away was regular, and I was comfortable that everything was well at home, while I was away.

I would not hesitate to use Douglas to look after Rosco and Oliver again in the future.

Douglas came to housesit for a 2 week period, during which time he looked after the house and Frankie my dog extremely well. Communication both before and during my time away was really good so I was reassured that everything was going well and that Frankie had adjusted to someone new being in the house without any problems. Although we didn't have the dog that we'd expected to have, and therefore need a house sitter for, Douglas gave us great peace of mind knowing that he was looking after the house during our lengthy absence overseas. Douglas is a wonderful man, very easy to get on with, he was excellent with our little chase and the chickens, our neighbours spock very highly of Douglas, living in such a very small place and to be highly recommended by my neighbours says it all. Douglas kept us up to date with photos of our beautiful Naira, he made the greatest effort to train her to walk better on lead and we were so happy he took the time with her. Douglas went above and beyond with caring for Naira, our home was well looked after and we made a great friend in the process.
