Hello, myself and my husband have been inloved in buying run down houses and turning them into beautiful places for happy first time buyers to live. We work at our own pace and this allows us plenty of time off. We're actually taking a break from work at the moment. We like to travel when we can, and take lots of short breaks too in the UK (camping and Airbnb style). 2018 was our first year house sitting and we had a wonderful time. Four sits and 10 weeks exploring Somerset and Dumfries, making new furry friends. 2019 we have carried out repeat sits, in Wrexham and Oswestry meeting donkeys, dogs, cats geese and chickens, and spent a month near Brighton. During covid we sat for friends with goats, cats, fish, hedgehog and butterflies. We had a break from Housesitters, and continued sitting for our friends now and again, but have decided to tour the UK more this year (2024) and reregistered. We are new to gardening, but love to help out, especially in the veggie plot, as we're Vegetarian. We are easy going, active (running, walking, cycling and canoeing) and happy to meet/facetime you before the sit. We look forward to hearing from you.

Couldn't recommend Helen and Paul highly enough ! They looked after our dogs really well and also the chickens and ducks . They left the house spotlessly clean and even bought some milk for us on our rerun . A lovely easy going couple who took care of everything !

Helen and Paul were simply wonderful looking after both my home and garden very well and leaving everything beautifully clean for my return from holiday too. But by far the biggest positive to mention is how well they cared for my relatively new rescue cat, Izzy. She wanted for nothing and looks in very good health suggesting she didn't even notice I'd gone away! Great piece of mind and I'm really pleased to have already booked them for next year. Izzy can't wait!

They have looked after our house, dog, cat, hens and geese a few times and we go away with the peace of mind knowing that all will be well whilst we are away - a great feeling. No rating Helen and Paul are lovely friendly people who looked after our house and dogs giving us peace of mind whilst we were away on holiday. Arranging the sit was easy and they arrived the evening before we left. Our house was clean and tidy on our return and the dogs had obviously enjoyed plenty of long walks, Paul even walked our dogs on the morning before they left as we were returning to work. We would definitely recommend Helen and Paul and hope to see them again when they are in our area

No rating Helen and Paul are a delightful, very energetic, efficient and caring couple, who looked after our elderly Border Collie Bruno - as well as the house and garden - for two weeks. They thoughtfully called when they were in the area a few weeks beforehand to meet Bruno and ourselves, and we knew from that visit that Bruno and the house would be well looked after.
