68, Registered Nurse

I can hardly believe that I just turned 68! After many years of being "responsible " - registered nurse, mother, partner, farmer (organic beef stud), potter, gardener, etc, etc I'm now semi retired & working intermittently undertaking short term contracts in my specialty. I'm creative, organised, careful and pay attention to detail. I've undertaken quite a few house & farm sits in New Zealand with Kiwi Housesitters and privately (word of mouth). I am now looking to spread my wings further. Ive been to the UK several times and just love the vibrance of the big cities as well as the beauty of the countryside and villages. My small farm has recently been sold and I was so fortunate to sell my herd of Dexters to a neighbour. The sheep went to a fellow spinner. I still go to visit the cows and they run to the fence to say hello to Mama. My wee dog Muffin passed away recently.
So, I'll go anywhere (I'm discovering the joys of the unexpected) . I have a hardy pair of boots & wet weather gear or can put on the heels & sip a latte with the townies. Short or long term - lets talk about it. Contact me through the web site and let's make a plan.

No rating We recently had the absolute privilege of Heather being our house sitter. She went above and beyond to care for our tribe, including a sick donkey. She even helped me research additional treatment for her. She is knowledgeable and intuitive with the animals. I was so happy with the daily photos she sent me of the crew. No rating Heather came to us at short notice, and proved to be the sort of kind, reliable, honest and cheerful sitter we were looking for. Familiar with animals, both stock (cast a discerning eye on our neighbour's cattle) and domestic (got on great with our cat), and with handling firewood - both important skills for sitting a rural property in winter. Recommended!!
