We are a retired Firefighter and Nurse/dog groomer and we are based near Perth, UK. We love pets of all shapes and sizes. We have been dog owners for many years but have decided that we won't be having another dog, so we are keen to look after your pets for a while.

Non-smokers, we are active and practical, totally trustworthy, and are experienced in grooming, feeding, walking and cuddling! We have a lot of experience looking after older animals and with administering medications.

We have looked after our friends and families pets and are now keen to look after yours. So far we have looked after dogs, cats and poultry. The biggest surprise for us has been the cats. We have never been cat owners, but we have really loved looking after them! They are such characters.

We are flexible about location, and distance isn't a problem; we love to tour around our beautiful country. Although we prefer rural and/or coastal situations, the occasional city break is also a treat. We look forward to caring for your furry friends!

We were delighted to have Ian and Doreen back to care for our 2 dogs for 4 nights. Lucy and Pixie were very happy girls and our home was just as we left it! Doreen and Ian are marvellous and very experienced with dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend them - we feel fortunate to have had them here twice and hopefully there will be other times. Thank you Doreen and Ian.

We were delighted to have Doreen and Ian to look after our 2 Bichon girls for 2 weeks. They are hugely experienced dog owners with no dog of their own at present. Communications throughout were excellent and all went very smoothly and as planned. On return our dogs were very happy and clearly very well loved and cared for with great attention. They even took them to a grooming appointment which was unexpectedly changed. Our vegetable garden had been watered as needed and the grass ... MORE

Ian looked after Murphy without any issues- it was evident when we got home that Murphy had been well cared for and the house was clean and tidy. Ian was friendly and reassuring and we felt confident that our dog and our house were in good hands. Murphy is a teddy bear in the house but anxious and excitable on the lead and Ian coped with this and there were no dramas. Thank you Ian- we can completely recommend you.
