Retired Police officers with lots of time on our hands looking to explore the UK. Both are non smokers.
We currently manage and maintain 12 rental properties so are perfectly capable of looking after properties and carrying out general maintenance.
We have been doing house sitting with HousesittersUK and Trustedhousesitters.com since 2018 and pretty much do it full time with around 25 sits per year on average.
Experienced with dogs, cats, poultry, rabbits and fish. Have also looked after a small farms with Exmoor ponies, sheep, pigs, ducks and chickens.
Hobbies include photography, fishing and enjoying the countryside.
We are also members of Trustedhousesitters.com where we have done numerous house sits.
Meena and Trevor are faultless. My dogs went into paroxysms of joy when they saw Meena and Trevor again. and you can't fool dogs!
Utterly brilliant in every way, they are the most thoughtful and assiduous sitters I've ever had and I can't wait until they can come and sit for me again.
It's always daunting having new people staying in your home. After reading the great reviews left for Trevor and Meena I contacted them to check availability and had a long facetime chat: they were warm and friendly and we confirmed the booking straight away confident that they were the right fit for us. We had regular messages from Trevor whilst we were away and that gave us peace of mind to enjoy our holiday.

Trevor and Meena are a lovely couple and excellent house sitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great communication before and during the sit. We came home to a spotlessly clean house and 3 very relaxed and contented pets. Also appreciated the little diy fix it jobs and wood burner tips (thank you Trevor) and the tidy and organised kitchen cupboards (thank you Meena). Highly recommended and we wouldn't hesitate to ask them to sit again.
Absolutely delighted to have had Trevor and Meena looking after our shep Blu. We met the night before and it was as if we'd known them for years, they are so friendly and knowledgeable and we knew from the start Blu would have a lovely time with them. They were careful with his limited walks and managed his medicine as needed. Meena and Trevor are perfect 'sitters'. When we got home we were greeted with a lovely meal, the house spick and span. Timbo was very contented. We consider ourselves very fortunate.

OMG what an amazing couple to house sit and dog sit. could not recommend them enough. Trevor and Meena are a fantastic asset to house sitters and feel like we have made friends for life. Struan our dog can be hard work on the lead but they are very experienced and kept me up to date daily with what pooch was doing, loved the daily photos. It's an absolute pleasure having Trevor and Meena looking after our house and the dogs. This is the second time that they've come to stay and we'll certainly be asking them again. The dogs clearly love them and we feel very reassured that the house is in safe hands. They're very good company too.
Well. I have never in all my life met such a wonderful caring couple. The house was spotless. Even my cupboards had been tidied. My two cats adored them I will never ever want to use anyone else. Trevor and Meena looked after my home and animals for the second time and everything was perfect. My dogs adore them and the regular pictures they sent were a great joy ( and amusing). The house was immaculate. I am fortunate that they are coming back to me this summer and will look forward to seeing them again.

They did a faultless sit for me, the house was absolutely spotless when I got home, and Meena had made me a delicious supper for the next night. Their love of dogs was evident from the outset, and I know my dogs had the best possible time. Trevor is brilliant at sending updates, and had even fixed a few things around the house for me whilst I was away.

We can't speak highly enough of the care provided by Trevor and Meena, and we recommend them unreservedly. Our two dogs were completely relaxed and happy when we got back; Trevor and Meena kept us in touch whilst we were away and, when we got back, we discovered the house was probably cleaner than when we left! We are very grateful to them for their solicitous care and I hope they can find time in what I am sure will be a very busy schedule to fit us in again. Thank you both.
We feel lucky to have had Trevor and Meena to take care of our cats and home. They are such a lovely couple, very warm and extremely caring. The cats were truly spoilt in our absence and when my daughter-in-law arrived to join us on our journey, Trevor seamlessly took charge of my 10-month-old Grandson, without the slightest effort. We'd love to have them back again when they are available, but we know they will be in high demand.
Meena and Trevor looked after everything perfectly. The dogs had clearly had a super time and everywhere was in tip top shape when I returned. I shall much look forward to seeing them again when they return for another house sit.
Trevor and Meena came to do a last minute 3 night sit for us and they were wonderful. They sent me messages while we were away so I felt so comfortable that our cat was being very well looked after and when I got back the house was spotless. Jackson (the cat) obviously adored them and they even left him with a new toy which he loves! Would highly recommend!
1st time we've had house sitters and we couldn't have wished for better ones. The house was spotless upon our return (much cleaner than when we left!) and Trevor even did some maintenance on a sink as a surprise for us, thank you.
Our cats were sadly elusive for most of their stay but they kept us updated and sent photos whilst we were away. I would highly recommend Trevor & Meena.
Hands down the best house sitters we've had:
They were very adaptive when it came to changing our plans due to covid19, they made a real effort with our cats who can be slightly above meeting new humans and did an amazing job of cleaning our house for when we returned (including pruning the dead leafs out of all the house plants, don't think I didn't notice!).
I can't recommend them highly enough, would jump at the opportunity to have them house sit again.
We are so so grateful to Trevor and Meena for coming to stay.
They looked after Sonny and Charlie beautifully, sorted out a few problems with the house(!), and communicated plenty to let us know that all was well.
It was a really great first experience of having sitters and we would definitely recommend them to anyone.
