This is the first time I had used the site or anything like it. John was very responsive from the start, and kindly explained how the system all worked. He had another commitment come up but he managed to move it so he could do the sit for us which is so appreciated. Nancy seemed very happy and well looked after which is all I could have asked for. Being able to relax knowing your pet is truly being cared for is so reassuring. Thankyou John.

John arrived the day before we left so we were able to hand over comfortably .He was very friendly and obviously used to being in a strange house asking questions we had not thought to write down! This gave us great confidence leaving our home and dog. Freida seemed really calm and contented on our return . Good communication and photos daily. Returned to a clean and tidy home and towels and bedding laundered. Such a relief to return to a happy dog and tidy home! Thank you so much John - much ... It was very obvious from the moment John and Pam arrived that our dogs were going to be very happy with them.
Communication was good all the way through.
Arrived home to an I immaculate house and a lovely stew ready for us.
A really nice couple perfect for dogs that don’t need too much excercise.

Thank you John and pam, we left our house with full confidence that everything would be OK, we had daily updates and pictures of the animals, and on arrival back home it was lovely and tidy john had made a fantastic stew for our return, I highly recommend john and pam's services

The dogs clearly loved having John and Pam over. The cat who rarely enters the lounge was happy to sit on their knee. Happy animals happy parents. Lovely to come home to bunch of flowers and tea made. Highly recommend

John and Pam are lovely people who looked after our house and cat extremely well.
We arrived back to find the house clean and tidy and clean washing hanging on the line in the sun outside.
We also arrived home to a delicious bolognese which we really appreciated and was very thoughtful.
Highly recommended.

Communication prior, whilst and after sit was good, both John and Pam arrived exactly when they said they would, lovely and friendly, chase took to them right away, chickens were fine, coop left clean and fresh with food and Walter, our house was left clean and tidy, bed had been striped bedding washed and made for us comming home. Food left in fridge and freezer and biscuit tin filled. I have marked Carden care in middle because we dident ask for anything to be done in garden but there was ... John and Pam were great sitters for our house and Stanley. House was clean and tidy when we got home and most importantly Stanley was happy. Really friendly and great curry on the hob when we returned after a long day of travelling. Would recommend them to sit for you.

John and Pam were experienced House sitters. Gerry was well cared for and had his meds administered well. The house was nice and clean on our return and a smashing hot pot left in the slow cooker. Pam left me the books she ploughed through and I'll enjoy reading those! . I would not hesitate in recommending John and Pam.

they came a day early and made themselves at home and theyate my food aft er saying they would replace did
not, my hardly fed and the , garden was not watered in fact they did very little they left a few items that said my house stinks and is dirty which is not true, they are just out to live off people, I would not recommend them as sitters.I am not two faced and everything I have said is the truth also I might add that they could not wait to leave when we returned. They quickly took £50 from me even though the sit was supposed to be free. Maybe they should look at what they do not do when they sit my husband had to clean the garden of dog mess as they had not done. They never watered my garden either, this is not being mean or nasty but very honest.I am now going to state that I refuse to answer any more comments from this person and no longer wish to enter into his vendetta.

John and Pam are both disabled and require machinery/mobility scooters. They do not state this on their portfolio! On my return, I found them hurrying around with the Hoover, on later inspection, I concurred that the house had not been hovered or dusted, just the basic washing up of utensils had been done. I instructed them not to eat meals in the living room and to use dining table in kitchen for such purposes, snacks were allowed. I noticed dried Bolognese sauce on the living room floor. ... Something has been spilt on the rug as the dogs keep sniffing and rubbing in it. Both toilets had not been cleaned!! Bath and sink had.
As for looking after my pets. My 2 dogs seem to be ok. Photos of their "walkies" shows they just took them outside the front door onto the grass verge, one photo shows them on neighbouring estate. As for my budgie! I have had to take her to the vets. Food boxes left indicate she has not been fed. She is too weak to fly. They state that all was ok with the bird. My hall way walls have been marked with (I say) John's mobility scooter. I had just recently decorated. They eat your food /use products only to replace them with cheaper versions. They seem kind enough and friendly, and yes, they're was a curry in the slow cooker which was a godsend. But overall, I would not recommend using John or Pam to house sit.

We kept in touch which was great and when we returned Pam had made a bolognese which was fantastic - could not praise them enough and highly recommend them for housesitting.
