Hi my name is Josephine . I live in Cornwall, a very beautiful part of the country.
I love visiting new places and making new friends both of the human and animal variety. House and pet sitting seems the perfect combination , an opportunity to visit new locations and make some new friends .
My middle son lives in Camberwell so I am more than happy to house sit either in central London or on the outskirts .
Happy to explore other parts of the country too.
I am a non smoker , respectful and tidy person .
Due to rising prices ( having a small NHS pension) I now ask for help with travel expenses if undertaking an expensive journey ( I have a senior rail card so 1/3 reduced ).
Also a small fee if sit requires dog walking, litter trays and or managing several animals or additional medical issues .
However all of this is negotiable linked to financial considerations , numbers of animals and level of care , location and length of sit - etc.
We were lucky to have Jo sit for us again - Gizmo remembered her from last time & it was a smooth handover. We could go away rest assured he’d be looked after & wouldn’t miss us - which is the best thing we could ask for whilst we were away.
Jo left the house spotless & took care of our home as her own. Thank you Jo! 😊
What a joy to find Jo! I was away for a month and this is the first time I had someone move in to look after my cats and flat. I wasn’t remotely nervous about leaving her in charge whilst I was away because we had face timed and then met the day I left - I knew instinctively she was just the lady to look after everything in my absence. Lots of photos, lots of amusing stories about my cats’ antics, and a spotless home to return to.

It was a pleasure to meet Jo. She is such a pleasant, kind and easy going lady. She house sat for us for 2 weeks whilst we were abroad. She looked after our dog and cat with care, love and enthusiasm. My dog can be shy and withdrawn if she feels insecure (when not with us) but Jo managed to bring her out of her shell and take her for some lovely walks.

It was lovely to meet Josephine for a few days. Unfortunately I wasn’t very well and had to cancel my trip to Brighton, but was happy to have Josephine over to help with my lovely cat, Meishka. She was also able to explore Watford and go for some aqua swimming classes locally. We managed to have dinner the first evening and some interesting conversation.

Jo put us at ease about the sit & looking after Gizmo from the very start. He is ordinarily very shy & anxious but was instantly comfortable around her.

Josephine (Jo) looked after my house and 2 dogs Izzy and Nelly for a month. Jo was excellent in all respects. She looked after the house and left it very clean and tidy. She also did an excellent job in looking after my Jack Russell and my Spanish rescue dog. My dogs have their quirks (as most dogs do) and Jo dealt very well with them. As Jo was our first house sitter our written instructions may not have covered everything necessary. Jo communicated very well with us to clarify any queries.

I booked Jo for a few weeks hoping my cat who doesn't like anyone might be ok as she would be in her own home. When I arrived back home I was delighted to find a nice clean and tidy house and a very happy and well fed cat
Jo had thoughtfully sent me photos of Ellie sitting on her lap so I knew she was ok and eased my mind. I would definitely use house sitters UK again and ask for Jo in particular.
Josephine was absolutely lovely to chat with when we met her to confirm the sit and run through instructions. She stayed for a week, left the place really clean and looked after our cat very well. He was well loved and happy when we came home. She was good at communicating and generously arranged the arrival time around our leaving time (much earlier than I had thought when we met her!) and her other sit she was leaving. I'd very happily recommend her to anyone needing a house and cat sitter.
Jo went to great lengths to make sure she arrived, as agreed, on the day the train strike happened. We spent time together going through the needs of Sid, our black cat and the 4 chickens. My home is always safe and secure when away and my cats never miss me because of the love and care they receive from Josephine. She is very conscientious and treats my home with respect which includes getting on with my neighbours, which isn't difficult for her,.

I had confidence in Josephine right from the start. She was friendly, positive and very easy to talk to. She clearly adored my two cats, even with their little foibles. She kept in touch with me throughout the sit and when I returned home the cats were contented and the house was spotless. I would most definitely ask her to sit again and would highly recommend her to anyone who expects top class care for their home and animals.
Josephine was great with my cat Suzie and I found her happy, relaxed and in good health upon my return. Josephine was prompt in her communication and regularly sent me updates while I was away. Josephine has been absolutely wonderful at looking after my cat Sasha! She was very reliable, friendly and had great communication.
Most importantly - she was very warm and affectionate towards my cat, managing to 'win him over' very quickly, (despite him usually being rather nervous with new people.)
