We are a middle aged couple who own a rural property about 45 minutes from Queenstown N.Z. We have live in this area since 1990 and have two adult sons and five grandsons.
Cherry is an Early Childhood teacher and
Chris has experience in orcharding and gardening.
We like to garden and enjoy the company of our little dog Boston. We also have had hens and have owned cats and even a milking goat in the past.
Cherry was born in England and has cousins around the UK. We have a son and two grandsons living in Surrey.
We have returned 5 times to visit in the past seven years which included a two and a half week house sit in Wales and five sits in Surrey which we greatly enjoyed.

Cherry and Chris were fabulous. This is the first time we have had any house sitters and the experience has been excellent. Ours pets were very well cared for. Tandi, our dog, is very affectionate and needs company. She was well walked and loved. Buddy, our cat, is independent, but seemed to take to Cherry and Chris immediately. This is Chris and Cherry's second housesit at Old Kemps Farm. They are fast becoming our favourite housesitters. Very caring and diligent. We had some heavy winds and Chris was quick to want to help and secure some fallen apple cordons. Both are terrific housesitters and wonderful dog walkers. They communicate well and always leave the house cleaner than when we left it! We hope to see them again next year.

Cherry and Chris were perfect house sitters. The house was immaculate when I returned - even the lawn was mowed! Most importantly the dogs were happy, and I’d received lots of communication. Highly recommended.

We loved having Chris and Cherry over to house-sit. Chris is an experienced gardener and took wonderful care of our tomato and other potted plants. We returned to an immaculate house and Cherry has gone to the trouble to washing, drying and ironing all the bed clothes. We felt our house was left in good hands and our pets (2 dogs and a cat) were well looked after - thanks so much and we'd love to have you back anytime.
