My name is Jemma; I'm a 37-year-old Kiwi working remotely for the University of Auckland as a well-being project lead while travelling and exploring the UK.
I am a responsible and reliable animal lover and have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, fish and small furries (hamsters, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits).
I have been housesitting for over two years now while exploring new countries and can provide references from previous homeowners.

Jemma is an absolutely top notch house and pet sitter. From the first meeting, it's evident how great her energy is and how comfortable with animals she is (and they with her). Our house was well cared for and perfectly clean when we returned, and we received regular updates while we were gone. I'd welcome her back anytime and couldn't recommend her more highly.
A short sit but house was clean, pool was sparkling and Puss was happy.
Jemma was literally a gem! She kept me informed regularly about my cat and the gardens while I was away so I certainly wasn't as anxious as I have been in the past. And I came home to a spotless house, complete with fresh flowers and a thank-you card!! I'd have her back in flash if she is available.
Highly recommended. Jemma was everything you could want and need in a house sitter. Our pets were extremely well cared for and we had frequent updates :-) The house was left in an immaculate condition - pets happy, plants thriving, clean and tidy and even a 'welcome home' plate of scones! Extremely friendly and trustworthy.
Jemma is an excellent housesitter. She took a great care of our home and especially our two cats. We came home to a very clean house and very happy cats.

We were nervous about leaving our anxious Chow and cat while away on holiday because they are so attached to us but Jemma was gentle in her approach and they quickly warmed to her. She sent updates with photos to provide further reassurance and we couldn't have been happier with the arrangement. Would definitely book Jemma again.
It was a pleasure having Jemma house sit for us. She left the place spotless and everything was smooth and easy. Great communication and easy going. Our dog Juno really enjoyed her time with Jemma too!
