Happy you!
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
I have no experience with live stock but would consider farm sitting were that not required. Having said that I am always willing to learn as long as it does not resemble a full time job ( I already have one as mentioned in my profile). I do however have a great deal of experience with parrots and bred them long ago.
55, artist/illustrator/writer
I recently spent six years living in a historic narrow boat, which I restored/refurbished myself during that period. Having felt it was time for a change I sold my boat in November and purchased a large van which I have also refurbished myself in order to create a home/studio in which to create my illustrations and earn a living. It was suggested to me, by friends who do house sitting, that it would be the best option for myself in that it would provide me with medium to long stay park ups. Which in turn would mean I could focus on my work without constantly moving on, while still being able to travel and enjoy the nomadic lifestyle I have always preferred. I have dual nationality having been born in Canada to British parents and resided the majority of my adult life in the UK. Some of which perhaps explains my nomadic nature. I have worn many hats over the decades including serving in the British Infantry and working in the security industry. I have always had a deep affinity for animals and owned a collie dog for twelve years whom I still miss fifteen years after he passed. My lifestyle offers me a degree of flexibility that some house sitters would struggle to provide and, given my history, there is no crisis (should there be one) that I cannot handle. I am tidy, house proud and conscientious. Please feel free to contact me should you like to know more. I am an open book.
