Hello, my name is Vicky
My love for pets is what sparked me to enter the wonderful world of pet sitting. I have been a dog sitter/ walker for over 4 years now, in England and Canada. I understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "fur babies".
I have 11 years of experience as a professional rental property manager in Vancouver, Canada and I have been a pet owner with 3 dogs and 2 cats. My last dog Max was a large 78lb blue Weimaraner rescue. I learnt a lot about the needs of rescue pets and making them safe and secure and understanding their needs. Toward the end, he had very special dietary requirements and some medication. I have also looked after a blind rescue cat and I grew up around farms helping out with horses, chickens and lambing.
I have done 2 house sits in 2022 and 3 house sits in 2019 with more reviews on another site Trusted house sitters with 3 reviews. I have references and I am happy to share them with you.
I have moved back to England from Vancouver Canada to spend time with family and friends. I own an apartment in Vancouver and sold my business and am semi-retired but I still do some online work.

I am settling into life in England and doing the house sits is working well to explore different places. It's much more fun with furry friends to spend time with and look after. I really enjoy meeting the pets and families.

I have had wonderful stays and enjoyed caring for my new furry friend's dogs, cats, chickens and sheep snakes and geckos. I have experience administering medications, special diets and exercise needs. I am careful to follow instructions, and routines and to communicate with owners regularly, sending photos and updates to reassure them.
I don't smoke or drink, I am very quiet, healthy and active and can manage energetic dogs' needs. I am also clean, tidy and reliable. I am gentle and understanding of pets and their needs. I don't leave pets alone for more than it takes to go to the supermarket. Your pets will be loved and well cared for. I love to look after pets and take care of their needs and give them lots of love while you're not there.
