Hello! I'm Lucy. Delightful homes and pets bring me a lot of joy - is there anything better than beautiful crockery, thriving houseplants, and watching all the silly things animals do?!

It would be such a pleasure to help look after your home, garden (indoor/outdoor) and cherished non-human members of the family whenever you're away.

A bit more about me:

- I'm very interested and involved in cooperatives, I have been part of a number of workers coops and am currently working on starting a housing coop in London

- I'm a big believer in open and honest communication, and have been learning about NVC techniques and conflict facilitation. Building trust is important in any kind of relationship, but especially so if you are going to leave some of the most important things in your life in my care. I'll invest time into making sure that happens and that you feel comfortable and secure.

- I firmly believe the best modes of transport are boats and bicycles.

- I love cooking, trampling through the countryside, coffee and a book, and the colour yellow

Lucy was a fantastic house and pet sitter while we were away at New Year. She took great care of our elderly cat Molly, which included giving her daily medication. Our flat was spotless on return and Molly was relaxed and happy. Also, Lucy was a total life saver when we were unexpectedly delayed for two days on our return. She was calm, helpful and flexible in the face of uncertain circumstances. I don't know what we'd have done without her. Really can't recommend Lucy highly enough!

Lucy was a great house sitter. Leaving your house and pet in someone's care for 3 months could be stressful but she made it easy. Lucy was very good at communicating regularly and updating us on Daisy the cat's status. She showed respect for our belongings and left the house spotless. Daisy was very happy and didn't seem to miss us at all! Thank you so much, Lucy.

Lucy is the best! While we were far away caring for family , she was so considerate, responsible, and kind! From dealing with a plumbing issue to leaving us homemade chocolates, Lucy went above and beyond. We highly recommend her!!! PS- our cat says he loves her :)

We would highly recommend Lucy who looked after our 5 cats and fitted round our changed holiday plans.. The house was immaculate when we returned and she even looked after plants without being asked to. Hopefully we will be able to use her again.

Lucy was the perfect housitter! In these times of Covid, we really appreciated how she arrived mask-on to meet us, and kept it on the whole time while we were showing her around the flat (my partner is in the vulnerable category). It was a very kind gesture. When she left, she also put all her bed linen in the wash and disinfected where she could. We returned to a spotless house.
