We can promise you that we would absolutely care for your pets and property as if they were our own.
I retired from the Police in 2008 after an unblemished thirty years of loyal service. I enjoyed swimming, walking and playing tennis for a few years but in 2013, my wife Clare and I decided to go back to work for a new challenge.
For the last three years we have been working and living at very large properties, Clare in the capacity of Housekeeper and myself in the capacity of handyman, gardener and chauffeur. When our employers were not in residence, we also had responsibility for the security and also for looking after the pets and other animals. These included dogs, cats, fish, ducks, geese and even horses and sheep.
We are animal lovers and have both had dogs and cats throughout our lives but sadly lost our beloved Border Terrier 'Jez' last year.
We are very confident, comfortable and experienced with them, especially with walks and cuddles.
We are responsible, honest, reliable and trustworthy and we both drive and are fit and active. We are non-smokers and extremely respectful, clean and tidy people.
We have really enjoyed working but now feel we need more flexibility and leisure time at this time in our lives.
House sitting is appealing exactly for those reasons. We get to choose when and where we stay, with the added attraction of looking after houses and lovely pets and exploring new locations.
We would love you to choose us to look after your pets and your property whilst you are away, giving you peace of mind to enjoy your holiday.

For our first pet and house-sitting experience we were a bit nervous but Colin and Clare are lovely and made it easy to leave our home and cats in their good care. At the time we arranged the sit we had one cat but by the time of the sit we had taken on another and were keeping them separate with only a little socialisation. Colin and Claire are wonderful. They looked after Poppet our cocker spaniel. From the videos they sent us from their trips out showed how much love and time they have spent with our Poppet and our house on return was cleaner than we left it and they had even mowed the lawn. Great communication. With updates throughout the week. Would highly recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you so much Colin & Clare for looking after our Poppet.

No rating Colin and Clare are an absolutely lovely couple who cared for our dogs so well that they were genuinely sad when they left! The dogs had such a wonderful time with amazing walks and lots of love. The house was well looked after too and whilst we were away they kept in touch with messages and pictures - all very reassuring. Colin and Clare are extremely kind, trustworthy and we would definitely recommend them.

No rating Colin and Clare were fantastic! Upon meeting them for the very first time we knew that our house, dog and horses would be in safe and capable hands and we weren't disappointed! They kindly sent photos from time to time of their walks with Bronte reassuring us that 'all was well'. On our return, after a month away, the animals looked 'tip top' and the house was in immaculate order. We highly recommend Colin and Clare and hope they are available to 'sit' for us again!

No rating Well, where do I begin?? Colin & Clare fit the bill perfectly, they were just wonderful and it was such a blessing to know that our home and our beloved Fred were both so well looked after. I would highly recommend them as housesitters....my only regret is that they had to leave us,,,,we miss them very much, but hopefully, we will have them back again!

Our house is spotless on return, Ruby the dog absolutely chilled, and the cats relaxed and happy. We left for our holiday feeling confident that Colin and Clare would look after our pets and home as we do and have not been disappointed. Many thanks to them for their kind care, helping to make our holiday even more enjoyable.

Top notch house sitters on return house was spotless, garden cared for and most importantly Milo our Tibetan was in excellent health. He had been spoilt rotten and taken on days out. We don't want to carry on telling you how fab they are because we want to keep them all to ourselves and we hope they will return to us in the near future. One word FABULOUS!
