I am Scottish, and have lived in Sydney Australia for the last 19 years. My real name is Agnes, but l am known as Nan. I visited the UK from early July to end of October 2022 and again in 2023 and incorporated some house swaps/pet sits during that time and am planning a similar trip in 2024. My family are all in the UK, so some of them may accompany me for part of some sits.
I have house swapped successfully over 50 times in my life and started house/pet sitting in late 2021, Till now, I have completed 15 very enjoyable 'sits' in Australia and 14 in UK (4 in 2022, 10 in 2023). Looking for short (up to 2 weeks) sits anywhere in the UK while I am there in 2024 (arrive in London on 5th June, fly back sometime in October - to be decided). Anywhere considered, as l love exploring new areas, but you must be near public transport as I no longer drive.
I am a very keen walker, and love to have a dog to accompany me, but l also like cats, and have looked after fish, birds, rabbits and chickens. Happy to look after any small animals, using your instructions, and l can care for your house plants and garden too. I have looked after swimming pools in Australia but probably less likely in UK.
I am a non-smoker and fully vaccinated. I can provide screen shots of reviews from the house sitting and house swapping sites I use in Australia, and a Police Check if you require these.

Nan was a wonderful Housesitter. Was at ease with her company right from the start. Piccolo was obviously very comfortable in her company as she would try to sneak into her room. Nan took Piccolo on many varied walks and sent me photos of a happy dog. I would happily invite Nan back again for future sits. Nan it wa a pleasure. Gillian šāļø
Nan was an excellent Pet and house sitter, communication before and during her stay was excellent.
Alice kept her entertained and was clearly comfortable with having Nan look after her.

What a wonderful woman Nan is to have house sitting, she looked after the house, garden and most importantly the dogs. Missy and Peanut were very happy and content and loved their long walks, love and affection Nan gave them. We feel privileged that Nan chose us, she updated us whilst away with beautiful photos, videos and text that reassured us how happy they were. We could not recommend Nan more highly wished she was available more frequently

Nan is a lovely woman, with really excellent people and pet skills. Our communications were great before, during, and post-sit and Molly took to her immediately she walked through the door. She took excellent care of Molly throughout the stay, responded really quickly to my messages, sent me photos of their adventures, and left the house immaculate.
Nan is welcome to return to Longforgan any time and we hope to see her again!
As this was our first experience of a sitter for Benji & our home we couldnāt have had a more enjoyable and positive experience with Nan.
Prior to and for the duration of the sit communication and reassurance from Nan was invaluable, Benji and Nan developed a lovely bond experiencing many wonderful walks together and cuddle time in the evening. Benji continues to look out for Nan.

I chose Nan to sit for us as she was lovely and friendly in her message and she had sat some larger dogs. Our dog Frank is a big guy and Nan and I chatted over WhatsApp and had a phone call. Frank was very comfortable with Nan and they got on well for the week we were away. Nan sent regular photos of frank which was lovely as we all miss him when we go away. Nan was a lovely lady, really easy to get along with and my cat took to her more or less straight away. She sent me daily updates and photos, which was really nice of her & she left the house clean & tidy, even stripped the bed! My cat was obviously very content in her company, which was the main thing. I would highly recommend Nan & certainly have her back. Thanks again Nan.
We counted ourselves very lucky to have Nan look after our house and pets for a few days. Lovely lady, very experienced and so well able to deal with the complex routine involved. The timing was perfect and we felt very confident leaving the house and animals in her capable hands. Nan was just excellent. Her communication was great before and during the sit, she took fantastic care of my furry boy Charlie. Friendly, warm, chatty, she left the house tidier than it was when I went away and was just a thorough pleasure to have in my home.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nan to anyone looking for a sitter.

Nan kept me kept me informed about my pets and she also sent lovely pictures showing they were in capable and caring hands. They looked happy which enable me to feel less guilty of going on holidays without them.. :)
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
