New Found Freedom

We are both retired and with our new found freedom, we cannot wait to travel this beautiful country and at the same time take care of your wonderful companions, pets and homes.
We have had pets all our lives, dogs, cats, guinea pigs until 8 years ago, when we sadly lost our last dogs Blaze, a doberman and Bixie who was a German Shepherd/Rottweiler. Also we have bred and shown Dobermans with great pride and success.
We walk everyday, locally and The Peaks. In the past we've completed Ben Nevis, Scarfell and Snowden. Two years ago we walked Hadrians Wall,
We do miss having a dog, cat and other animals but this way we can have the best of both worlds by taking care of your furry, feathered friends in the comfort of their homes.

I returned to a completely spotless home, a well groomed and happy dog, and they had even made up the bed in the spare room with fresh sheets. Carol and Steve were absolutely brilliant house and pet sitters. Their communication was excellent ahead of the sit and they were relaxed and adaptable to the situation. My house was left sparkling clean and my cat Bill was very happy with her temporary staffing arrangements! I'd recommend Carol and Steve wholeheartedly and have them back again without hesitation.

Carol and Steve are excellent house sitters. They arrived before we left to meet our dog and to see the house. They were reassuringly calm and well-organised, and have not only looked after our dog, cat and hamster while we were away, they have also left the house in a far better state than when we left. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and hope they might consider coming back to us one day (when we have finished the decorating perhaps!)

We were nervous leaving our young schnauzer with strangers but it has been a complete success thanks to Carol and Steve. They were happy to arrive the evening before we left for holiday so that Max could meet them properly and they clearly have a lovely way with dogs. Carol and her husband Steve were excellent house sitters. Our dog kept going to the window to look for them after they had gone and our cat and gerbils had been well looked after too. The house was also super clean when we returned. Hopefully we can use Carol and Steve again in the future and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
