Hi from Glenys & John (Pen),

For much of our lives we have lived in remote locations in Australia, which means we are self reliant and able to deal with all manner of problems, whether it be a rural or urban location.

We have owned many pets, including dogs, cats, birds & fish. We are also interested in gardening, although our knowledge of UK plants and conditions is limited.

We both own our own homes and rental properties. We have travelled extensively and appreciate & prefer getting to know local areas and the people who live there. We have hosted more than 200 overseas visitors in Alice Springs through the web based Hospitality Club.

We are particularly interested in housesitting within an hour or so of Kinross.

We think we are the perfect house/pet sitters - mature, reliable, responsible, fit, adaptable, non-smokers & animal loving.

No rating We felt completely at ease leaving our home and cats in Glen and John's hands. Not only did they nurture our garden with daily watering during a very hot spell, John did a couple of helpful little jobs around the house without being asked. They befriended and loved our two puss cats - even sent us photos of them ! - and they also send a positive endorsement of their temporary foster parents. We would recommend this couple as house-sitters without hesitation and hope to stay in touch.

No rating Glenys and John were the perfect house-sitters: practical, responsible and caring. They kept us well informed about our pets' welfare while we were away, and we returned to two very contented animals and a meticulously maintained house. In addition, Glenys and John are just very nice people, who we enjoyed meeting and have no hesitation in recommending.
