I am a British woman with a lifetime of experience of being around animals and looking after them. In addition, I have done a lot of animal rescue abroad, so I have a good understanding of anxiety/separation anxiety issues in both dogs and cats. I am reliable, responsible, organised, communicative and very caring with a strong work ethic. I had my own pets for many many years, so I understand how precious they are and always look after them as I would my own pets. I am also very security-conscious and never have anyone else into your home. I always keep the house clean and tidy, as I do my own home, and make sure everything is in order (bedding washed, etc.) before you come home.

I work from home, so I am with your pets most of the day and would never leave a dog for longer than 2 hours. I also like to send you regular updates while you are away so that you know everything is going smoothly at home.

I never charge for pet-sitting and have excellent references from pet owners, who you can feel free to contact for peace of mind. I also have an up-to-date DBS and additionally leave you details of my home address as well as a copy of my passport. Finally, I am double-vaccinated and have also had the booster shots.

We cannot recommend Nicola highly enough. We went away for a week and felt totally happy that our dogs and house were in very capable hands. The dogs were looked after so well and we had daily updates and photos - usually asleep after all their walks! Our house was immaculate. Nicola washed and dried her bedding and left milk for our return. She used her common sense if there was a problem and we would love her to come back again.

Nicky took care of our elderly cat Pinot for two months. She took great care of Pinot and gave us regular detailed updates during the house sit. Our house was also well cared for which included cutting the grass and watering plants. Nicky is a very friendly person. She is also a very experienced house sitter with a good knowledge of pet care. We were very lucky to find her and I hope she will be able to look after Pinot for us in the future.

Nicola was fantastic. Billy absolutely loved her and she really looked after him well, he is an elderly cat and pretty deaf and blind but quite lively but Nicola knew exactly the right way to to make him feel safe and loved. Nicola was also very good at sending us updates with pictures and videos so we knew he was fit and well. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending Nicola as a pet or house sitter, totally reliable and adores animals. Thank you

Nicola has been amazing right from the start. She was very easy to communicate before the trip and kept us updated with photos and videos whilst we were away which we loved. We have come home to an immaculate house (with all linen and tea towels washed) and two very happy and relaxed cats. Our girls are going to miss her and we wouldn't hesitate to have Nicola back to house sit for us.

Nicola was excellent, She kept us informed throughout the month . She was really interested in Meg and kept her amused the whole of the time we were away. so much so that Meg really seemed to miss her when it was time for Nicola to leave . Nicola is a very lovely caring person who we arranged to come to our house to look after our puppy Chico. The plan was that she would arrive on 13th March and leave on our return on 3rd April. Because of Covid we ended up stuck in Spain unable to return until 1st July. Nicola stayed throughout altering her arrangements to help us. Chico was extremely well looked after and she treated our house with respect. We are so very grateful to her and would recommend her for any pet sitting post.
