We are best friends of over 25 years and have a shared vision of living for the moment, exploring new places and the fundamental need to be kind.
We have recently resigned from our occupations in education as a teacher and business manager to progress our love of travel and long to engage in house sitting to reduce our outlay and enhance our experiences. We are genuine, caring, professional, adaptable, respectful individuals who have high standards and always care for and tend to the environments we live in. We both love animals but cannot commit to caring for our own as we'd be unable to put their needs first.
We will take the lead from yourselves, as to what is required, whilst at the same time using our own initiative and experience to get the best out of this for everyone.
Trust in us and have the confidence to know that your home and pets will be in the very best of hands.
In addition to domestic sits we are also available to sit internationally.


We’ve been sitting since June 2021 now and totally loved all of our experiences. We’ve cared for a wide array of pets and livestock and have had the privilege of staying in some stunning homes. We have a return sit in Cornwall which isn’t advertised so our reviews fail to reflect current activity. It’s a true compliment to be asked to return for, at times, 6 months at a time to care for two cockapoos in Charlestown.

Shirley is an amazing housesitter. She looked after our pets, home and garden with the utmost care and respect. We received weekly updates on how things were going whilst away and nothing was too much trouble for her. Shirley has such a relaxed and calming presence the cats were completely comfortable with her from day one. Shirley & Sarah are experienced sitters and it shows. They are great communicators, arrived exactly on time and it was a pleasure to welcome them into our home. The house was spotless on our return (cleaner than we'd left it), they'd left vases of fresh flowers from the garden and a lovely home-made supper was waiting for us in the frdige (we were getting back late). Wonderful! - it was an absolute privilege for us to have these two lovely ladies in our home and look after our two cockerpoos. After they taught them to type, regular messages from our pups kept us both amused and updated. Returning home was a pleasure, both the house and the gardens were immaculate. I cannot recommend Shirley and Sarah enough, they are wonderful. They regularly sent me updates and photos of the animals which gave me great peace of mind. I returned to a clean and tidy house, very happy animals and a meal in the fridge. They went over and beyond, even doing some weeding. I would very happily have them as housesitters again.

Sarah and Shirley are simply the 'A' team for house and pet sitting. Everyone who has booked them in the future are in for a treat. They work as a team leaving everything spick and span, happy, well fed and watered. They were understanding and respectful to a change in our plans due to unforeseen circumstances. I cannot recommend Shirley and Sarah highly enough. They took very good care of my two cats while I was away for two weeks. On my return the house was immaculate and the lawn had been mown. They even left some dinner in the fridge for me. They were in regular contact and bent over backwards to reorganise their plans when my return home was delayed by two days. I would definitely use them again for any future sits.
