Recently retired from our own New Zealand iconic national gardening business, we are looking to spend more time in the UK. Our daughter is a university lecturer in York so we go to the UK every summer. We will be in the UK again from June to August 2024.

We have extensive hospitality and property management experience and still own and manage a number of properties in NZ, including our own executive home on an acre of landscaped gardens, as in our photo. We are passionate about gardening and love exploring the wonderful gardens in the UK. And of course we also love pets. We own a lovely black pussycat.

We are fit and healthy and have been going to the UK every summer for the last eleven years (except 2020-21). In 2024 will be there for around 3 months from June to August. We will have our own car. We have house sits booked already until late June & part of July. Our available dates are all of August 2024.

We are diligent and dedicated to caring about other people's property and pets. We are happy to consider both rural and urban locations and will be delighted to provide personal references. There is also an opportunity for an exchange house sit.

We have previously done lots of house siting in New Zealand and England and references are attached. References are also available on Trusted Housesitters website.

This was our first time with House Sitter and I have to say we hit the jackpot with Geoff and Liz. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their experience of looking after a large house with gardens and two dogs was invaluable. Geoff and Liz were like part of the family as soon as they came to stay and the communication while we are away was just right to keep our minds at rest. What a delightful couple Geoff and Liz are. They looked after our pets and house with great care and attention. While away they gave us regular updates on the animals which was much appreciated. Best of all we got to spend the evening before we left with them which was great fun and a real delight. We very much hope we may meet again one day. Excellent communication right from the start, warm friendly couple, prompt on arrival, looked after our two dogs, a pleasure to meet and have as house sitters. Would highly recommend and would certainly use again.

Unflappable, trustworthy, tidy and able to take on our farm (and feed 120 sheep daily) .... when really they were there to just look after our dogs... at short notice they are real stars. I really cannot recommend them highly enough. Try and book Geoff and Liz. You won't regret it.
