I am a retired, non-smoking, single female who loves cats. I am honest, trustworthy and reliable and am looking for opportunities to housesit and keep your beloved moggies company. I sadly had to have my 18 year old long haired puss put to sleep a few years ago and was heartbroken. I miss having her around and, as I am now retired would welcome the chance to look after other people's cats and have a change of scene. I drive and so would not need to be close to transport but will need a parking space. As I am a property owner I am used to having the responsibility of looking after a house and will care for your home as if it were my own. I ocassionally housesit for a friend and so am used to taking care of other people's homes and pets. If you would like me to cat and housesit for you just drop me a line and I will respond.
Linda is a superb sitter who has a clear affinity with cats. I had the pleasure of an evening with her before I left in the morning and she's a lovely person!
Communication was fab, I was updated throughout my holiday which really put my mind at rest and I came home to two relaxed cats and a tidy house.
I will certainly be asking Linda to sit again and cannot recommend her enough.
Whilst away Linda sent regular updates which were greatly appreciated. I returned home to a very happy cat and a spotless house. Would definitely recommend Linda .
This was our first experience of having a house sitter and it was with some trepidation too. Linda arrived the evening before we went on holiday and we had a meal together, and spent time getting to know each other. We went on holiday feeling confident that Linda would take good care of our cats and house. She was responsive to our messages and each day, we received an update with photos too. Linda has been a great sitter for our cat, Lily. She kept us regularly updated with photos and was completely unfazed at clearing up after Lily was sick a couple of times. We came back to a happy, unstressed cat and a tidy house. Very pleased and would recommend Linda to other cat-lovers.
Having never used a house/ cat sitter before, we weren't quite sure what to expect. Certainly, Hobbes (we inherited him as a stray) can be a bit needy, but Linda took to him immediately. We spoke over the phone and video called before Linda came down, and she immediately gave us the comfort and reassurance we needed. She arrived on time, wrote everything down (it's a bit of a quirky house), and got on with it. She sent updates and photos and we were very happy that Hobbes was enjoying her ... MORE
Linda was a perfect house sitter for my beloved cat 'Archie', she sent me photos of him and kept me in touch with his mouse catching skills. I would welcome her back anytime as I felt happy leaving him with Linda. She looked after him extremely well.
Linda arrived at my house in plenty of time before my journey. She was very comfortable with the cats straight away. I felt confident leaving my home and fur babies in her capable care. She sent me plenty of communications and photos for my peace of mind throughout my trip. My cats were quite content on my arrival home , and my house was left tidy. I would be happy to have her sit another time for me .
Linda has been the perfect house guest/cat sitter. Our house was immaculate on our return and Charlie has been very spoilt and looked very happy on our return. Our first port of call for the next time we have to leave Charlie will be Linda!
Linda arranged to visit our flat in advance of the house sit which was very reassuring.
Communication while we were away was great with regular updates and pictures of our cats who were obviously being well looked after.
Would definitely recommend and would be very happy for Linda to house sit again.
Im am so grateful, we couldn't have asked for a better cat/house sitter. Linda has thoroughly spoilt our beloved cat, sending us daily updates of a happy Bubble-o-seven who seems to be still looking for her.
Our house is immaculate and very well looked after.
Bubsi gives 10/10 stars on the feline belly-rub scale, we would give more stars if possible.
