Hi I'm David and a lifelong animal lover from Yorkshire in the UK.

I grew up with cats as our family pets, but I would also often take my friends' huskies for long walks on the moors around Haworth in West Yorks.

In recent years I have been travelling abroad and I've recently returned from Australia to spend more time with my ageing parents in Yorkshire.

While in Australia I looked after family pets including Henry the adorable Pug and Pusskins (yes that is her real cat name).

Having grown up with cats I understand their nature (it's definitely true no cat is alike). I'm also well adapted to dogs and I like to keep active with a good walking companion.

I've also had the blessed opportunity to house sit for a very well known Dutch athlete looking after his beautiful dog Xena while he was travelling to the US.

I'm a healthy active non smoking professional and I run my own online business, publishing software and meditation music.

David proved to be very capable at dealing with our young dog and the tense relationship between our dog and cat! He was easy to communicate with and treated our home well. Would recommend him!

Dave's communication from the start was excellent, and that was maintained throughout the sit, including photos of our happy cats. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for peace of mind while away.

David came to help us out quite last minute, as we had been let down. He arrived and just fitted in with all of our pets. He sent us some lovely photos and video to show us our pets were happy. When we came home our house was clean and tidy and our pets well looked after. I would recommend David as a housesitter and would be glad to have him back again.
