Ex home care worker , now housewife , I'm a animal lover especially dogs , and cats I've had 2 westies and sadly my last one passed away 2 years ago which left me heartbroken, I love walking , baking , reading and listening to music , I'm a quiet person who doesn't mind being alone on walks etc , I've been with my husband for 35 years and we share a 26 year old son , I live in a lovely village called Littleborough which is at the foot of the pennies and on the Lancashire/ Yorkshire border, I don't expect payment only expenses I may incur, petrol etc , thankyou Sylvia x

Sil has just been a fabulous housesitter from the word go. All communication was prompt and reassuring.. Sil went above and beyond with her care of Dusty sending me regular texts and photos. She told me that she looks after pets as thought they are her own and this was certainly true. I felt so comfortable leaving Dusty with her and returned to a very contented little dog and an immaculate home. Sil is a truly honest, genuine and caring person and I would strongly recommend her.

Sylvia sat for us for just over two weeks this Jul/Aug and she really is a dream sitter! Communication was excellent and fast, she even emailed a reference after I'd said I didn't need one because of all her great reviews on this website. Sylvia was wonderful with our cat Charlie and it was obvious she really cared about him. We came home to a relaxed and contented Charlie. Sil has house-sat - and more importantly cat -sat - for us four times now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. The house is always immaculate on our return, as is the garden, and Teddy our beloved cat is happy, In fact I think he misses her as she gives him so much fuss! This was our first experience of a "stranger" housesitting for us and Teddy our cat. Sil was brilliant - I am not going to list all she did for our garden and cat as it would take too long. Suffice to say that we have booked her again and Teddy is looking forward to us going away, I think!

Sil looked after my little dog and snooty cat whilst I went away for a week and I could not have asked for better care. Tilly was taken out on lots of adventures which she loved, Penny cat didn't shout at me once when I came home (which she ALWAYS does when I've had the nerve to leave her in the past!).
