I'm a writer and script reader looking to save money whilst moving out of my caravan for the winter. I have written for theatre, Radio Four and a bit of tv.

I lived in London for many years and working from home became a go to person for looking after dogs and cats. I have dog sat at a kennels for both the owner's dogs and the kennel dogs. I have a basic DBS check with me for the recent dog sitting and can provide contact with referees.

I am a dog and cat lover and will happily look after them and spoil them. I will follow your instructions to the letter. I don't drive but walk everywhere and will happily walk your dog as much as you like.

I have never smoked and I don't drink bar a very occasional beer a couple of times a year if that.

My idea of a good evening is a string of good documentaries on BBC4, a good film of any vintage or a book or a puzzle. I am very quiet.

Simon arrived the evening before I left very early the following morning. This gave me time to introduce Simon to my dog Jonas and answer any questions about the house and village. I was very happy and totally relaxed to leave and for Simon to look after my dog and the house. On my return, Jonas was happy and well looked after. Simon was a super sitter. Was only a short sit, but house was clean and tidy, and the cats were well looked after. He sent messages / photos to keep us informed, and the cats definitely enjoyed his company, obvious with the way they interacted with him affectionately even after our return. Would definitely recommend, and won't hesitate to call on him again should the need arise.
