We're a friendly, self-employed couple, working mainly online with our respective creative businesses in coaching, art and Tai Chi. We're reliable, adaptable and love animals. We have had many cats and a wonderful dog for over 16 years. Sadly we don't have any animals at the moment so it's a joy to get to spend time with some friendly furries.

We recently sold our flat in Devon but the property we were buying fell through, so we're currently taking time out to travel round the UK and back to our other home in the Granada region of Spain (where we lived and worked for two decades). Right now we're looking for UK sits for 2023.

We're non-smokers and as far as diet goes, we hover between pescatarian and veggie. (Happy to eat veggie in your house if you prefer.)

We love both being in the heart of the city or immersed in nature. A good wifi connection is a definite bonus but we can get by on our 4G at a pinch.

We spent the whole period from May to end of Sept 2022 looking after pets and houses all over the UK and made lots of new friends both furry, feathered and human! We have an array of reviews and can provide ID. (Or Google us - we both have online businesses!)

Our first time with house sitting - due to our senior dog benefitting from his home comforts - and Cherry & Paul were simply amazing. They came a night earlier for orientation and as well as being lovely guests they took time to get to know our dogs and understand their characters. Clearly experienced at this gig, they put us at ease, and we went away happily. House was immaculate upon our return, and the dogs very happy (though clearly missed Cherry & Paul!). Paul and Cherry were great! They kept us updated on how the animals were and sent photos of them enjoying their walks. The house was spotless on our return. The animals all clearly were very well looked after and loved. Cant thank you enough for caring for our animals and home for us.

Cherry and Paul are wonderful house sitters. I had made a slight date error because of a change in circumstances and some life events, and they were very patient about it. We came home to a lovely clean and tidy house and very happy pets. A lovely, experienced house sitting couple. We arrived home to a happy dog, well fed cats and a well looked after home. While away the communication was excellent, especially when the alarm went off after a power cut. I would definitely recommend them and hope they return in the future.

Leaving Ruby our much loved and cherished whippet with Cherry and Paul was very easy, it was so obvious that she was going to be spoilt rotten. This was our first experience with House Sitters and it could not have been better. Cherry and Paul are a delightful couple who took great care both of our elderly springer Minnie and of our house. They also kept us updated with photos of Minnie during the fortnight which was very reassuring. Paul even left us a meal to come back to after our long journey home which was greatly appreciated. We would not hesitate in recommending them nor of inviting them back next time we go away.

We are really pleased that we found Cherry and Paul to house sit for us in January and February. They bonded with our rather grumpy cat Nodger and he was in fine form when we got back. Communication was good and we got some lovely photographs of Nodge while we were away. We'd really recommend Cherry and Paul; they looked after the house and cat really well.

Cherry and Paul were fantastic sitters,Sasha was very well cared for and had obviously made good friends with them. All the plants were well watered in the excessive heat and the garden looked great. The house was spotless on our return, milk in the fridge and soup on the stove! How lovely! They are very welcome to call in or stay anytime, they are lovely people! Thank you.

Cherry and Paul were perfect house sitters, caring for our spaniel, cat and 3 hens. Bumble the spaniel clearly took to them, and I think Paul particularly bonded with the hens, who followed him about :D They sent us photos and tales while we were away to give us peace of mind.
