Hello, and thank you for reading our profile. If you need a sitter and you think we fit the bill please do get in touch, we reply quickly and are very organised.

We're platinum house sitter members and now in our 8th year of house sitting; it is everything we thought it might be and more. We have made some lovely new friends, looked after many fabulous pets, stayed in many fabulous, varied comfortable homes and visited many new parts of the uk.

We are good, realiable, sitters and thoroughly enjoy our sitting experiences - all different but equally rewarding.

We are an honest, friendly, caring retired couple married for 44 years with 2 grown-up children who have now flown the nest. Our son lives in London and our daughter in Cheshire. Six years ago we became grandparents to a gorgeous little boy Albie and now his little sister Matilda (3) who have stolen our hearts :-D and caused us to move from my home town of Grimsby, Lincolnshire to Nantwich, Cheshire. Patrick is from Semington, Wiltshire.

We love to see new places and have travelled abroad extensively but we realised we had not visited so many areas of the U.K. And there are still lots of places we have never been to :-)

We are non-smokers and occasional drinkers. Both active, we love walking and gardening (had 2 allotments prior to our move to Cheshire recently) and spending time with our family and friends.

Our cat Mitzi died 11 years ago age 15 but in the past we've kept hamsters, rabbits, cats a dog and, for a few years, until recently, had 8 hens and a few fish in an aquaponics unit we set up. We have had a lot of animals over the years as our daughter wanted to be a vet from age 7 - a dream she later realised and has now gone on to teach veterinary at university. We can call on her and her husband's (also a vet) expertise if we have a problem. We are beekeepers, a hobby we took up on retirement 9 years ago.

Whilst you are away we are happy to keep in touch with you by WhatsApp etc photos/videos to reassure you all is well whilst you are away; we find pet owners appreciate the peace of mind this contact provides.

If your houseplants need watering and some tlc we would be happy to look after them for you too, it is fair to say I (Julie) have a very keen interest in houseplants.

We have had excellent testimonials from ALL of our sits and are often asked back to do further sits.

We look forward to meeting you and caring for your pets and your home whilst you enjoy time away knowing they are in safe, capable and caring hands.

Second time that Julie and Patrick have sat for us and everything was great. They are a lovely couple and fit in very easily with the house all the animals. All our pets were very happy to see them again. They took great care of the house too. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.

Patrick and Julie were fantastic housesitters looking after both our Labrador Freddie and our house fabulously. There was great communication from before they arrived and during the sit. Thank you both and you are welcome back to the island any time

We just had Julie and Patrick house and cat sit for us, we didn't get to meet them as we needed to leave very early but, as experience sitters, we knew all would be OK and it was! All cats were happy when we got back and the house was as we left it. Communication before we went away was good and during our stay we had regular WhatsApp chats. Julie and Patrick are a lovely kind and diligent couple who took great care of the house and all the animals. Our cat had a lovely time on Patrick's lap most evenings, even though he ended up with a large covering of white hair. The dogs really took to them and thoroughly enjoyed their walks. Julie and Patrick fitted in extremely well and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Julie and Patrick were fantastic sitters, with great communication from start to finish. We spent a long weekend away with not a care in the world as we felt confident Julie and Patrick had everything covered. Our cat Wolfie can sometimes be shy around strangers but she seemed to take an instant shining to these two which was lovely. Julie and Patrick were wonderful dog sitters for our two lovely old girls. They came the evening before we left to get to know the girls and we had no doubt at all that we were leaving them with caring, kind people. They sent us regular updates and pictures and we felt very confident that they had the best care, and with elderly dogs it's so important to have this. No rating Julie and Patrick have looked after our home and Dogs over the last week. They did a sterling job, animals happy house clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend them.

No rating This is the first time we have used House Sitters UK to care for our two dearly beloved rescue dogs and we are absolutely delighted that we chose Julie and Patrick. We were abroad but they kept in touch with pictures and texts so we could relax and enjoy a family wedding. No rating Julie and Patrick were brilliant at looking after our 3 dogs and our home. The dogs were really happy and we got daily updates on how they were behaving. Our home was well looked after and we would be very happy for Julia and Patrick to sit again. We would certainly recommend them as competent and extremely good house/pet sitters.

They also left the house spotless on our return and had made extra effort to mow the lawn and wash and hang out their bed linen which we hadn't requested. Overall a really nice and trustworthy couple who we will have to house sit for us again.

No rating Julie and Patrick have just completed a house sit for us and we couldn't recommend them any higher. They dealt with a very difficult situation here with great common sense and kindness while we were away from home, keeping us informed every step of the way. The house was spotless when we returned.probably better than when we left!! If you want to go away and leave house and animals in someone's care, and know you can relax, then Julie and Patrick would be hard to beat.
