We are a non smoking couple from the UK. We have been together for 32 years and owned our own homes in Hampshire, for 30 years.

We left full time employment in 2019 to travel and experience other countries for much longer periods of time, planning to house and pet-sit to enable slow travel.
We had worked for our respective employers for around 20 years each and it was time for a change. This was pre-pandemic, and we then had to adapt the plans a little!

We love animals, and enjoy caring for them whilst looking after a property, we are essentially homebodies who love to travel! We much prefer to stay home in the evenings, cook our own meals and then cosy up with a film, a book and a furry friend, this has usually been dogs, but our friends' cats are usually up for a snuggle too, but of course only on their own terms.

We regularly look after and have full responsibility for our neighbour's dog, and we find this hugely rewarding. Many of our friends and family have furry friends and we adore them; if our ultimate plan wasn't to travel long-term we would absolutely have our own pets.
We are an active couple who regularly go on walks and love canine company on them.

Graham has worked all his life as a technical service engineer, with plumbing and electrical skills, and is practical and resourceful.
He also loves the garden; watering, deadheading, weeding, mowing - all favourite pastimes.

Heather was employed as the Customer Service Manager with an international manufacturing firm, dealing with customers, leading a team, liaising with production and also shipping worldwide - lots of problem solving skills and attention to detail, reliable and sensible.

Graham has a 2018 DBS Certificate via his previous employment, and we are insured for pet-sitting and have public liability insurance. Certificate of insurance can be forwarded, upon confirmation of booking.

We would love to be considered for your house-sitting opportunity. With us in your home, you can travel stress free knowing your home and loved ones are in the right (insured) hands.

We also have used housesitters for 4 months in our house, for our 'big trip' so understand the potential worries that a HouseOwner can have.
We enjoy keeping in touch whilst you are away, as much or as little as you like, with photos and updates of your pets in our care.

We have been in contact with some terrific HouseOwners, we have loved our experiences so far and we have been invited to return on many occasions. We have taken care of dogs, cats, ducks and prizewinning chickens, guinea pigs and a gecko!

Heather & Graham are the best. They house sat for us and our 2 dogs for a week and were just brilliant. We received daily updates on how our 2 dogs were being cuddled, fed and walked. We felt so appreciative of all their communications and laughed at some of the antics. It was lovely to go away knowing everything was in good hands and so well cared for. Awesome sitters , already re-booked 😀. Great communication all through , never had any concerns for our 3 dogs or our home. The dogs clearly loved them both and enjoyed the walks and cuddles. House was immaculate and great to have some milk in the fridge for our return, much appreciated. Amazing couple who love this job. Heather & Graham go the extra mile in looking after your house and pets. We were delighted that Heather and Graham could house sit for us again. They formed a brilliant bond with our dog Bertie so he was very excited to see them! The level of care for both Bertie and our house was excellent with the added bonus of them already being familiar with the setting so the handover was very straight forward. We’ll definitely be booking them again for future sits.

Heather and Graham are the ideal house sitters. The communication was excellent from the moment we first contacted them. They are resourceful and considered in their approach and I felt completely at ease leaving them to care for our dog, chickens and home. Heather and Graham looked after my home and pets for the second time and everything was perfect. My dogs adore them and get masses walks and attention , even TV programmes selected especially for them! They sent me regular updates and pictures which are very much appreciated. They left my house beautifully clean and tidy and are excellent house sitters in every way. I am, as before, very grateful for the peace of mind they provide.

We struck gold with our house/dog sitters Heather and Graham. They truly loved and cared for our 2 cocker spaniels. We were having building work done and they dealt with the workmen, looked after our chickens and watered our plants. We had a WhatsApp group so they sent us cute photos of our dogs every day. WOW! Heather & Graham are super kind, reliable and trusted. They took great care of Lola, walks, play and plenty of photos of her giving us confidence all was well. Also the house was kept clean & tidy & Graham kindly offered to mow the lawn for us! They actually went above and beyond, helping move my van and loading furniture into it so it was ready for me to deliver to my daughters new flat upon my return! I would definitely have them return, as sitters and Lola loved them.

Heather and Graham looked after our golden retriever and house / garden for 2 weeks. I cannot praise them more highly, they were extremely professional, took great care of the house (including handling some issues that arose while we were away), obviously love animals and bonded so well with Juno. They sent photos and updates every day, We returned to a very clean home and very happy, contented dog!

You want to know that your pets are being regularly walked and that you can trust your sitters to take care of your pets and house whilst you are away. Graham also kindly offered to mow the lawn for us, so we came home to a manicured lawn, a well executed shed repair that we requested, tidy house and very happy dogs. Heather and Graham are such superb house- and dog-sitters that we asked them to return. Jasper, our English springer spaniel, could not have been more delighted to be in their care once again. We were delighted to be asked to return, and honoured that holiday dates were changed to accommodate our availability. Jasper is an absolute joy to look after and we miss him heaps. We enjoyed the house, Bushy Park and the company of Jasper and his friend too, we look forward to a third visit!
What else can we say but WOW. Heather and Graham are the perfect house sitters. There is no doubt that leaving your home in the care of these two kind and attentive sitters is probably better than leaving it in the care of oneself but to most of us the most precious thing is leaving our pets. Heather and Graham were absolutely first class house sitters. They were easy to communicate with and very responsive before the sit. They looked after everything beautifully, including mowing extensive lawns, watering veg garden and indoor plants, walked and played with Bella the dog, took excellent care of the ducks and made sure the cat was well fed.
