Experienced pet owner, house-sitter and gardener.
I'm very happy to assist with outdoor tasks such as lawn mowing, plant care and general yard tidying.
I love both dogs and cats, and have quite a bit of experience with chickens, ducks and farm animals.
As a remote worker (financial analysis), I can assure hosts that I will be around to care for the property and any animals.
I'm fit and active, so long dog walks are welcome.
Friends would describe me as something of a 'neat freak', so your home will always be kept clean and tidy.
I am a non-smoker and will not take on sitting jobs for hosts that smoke indoors (sorry).

Once again we were delighted to welcome Steven, Judith and the girls into our home whilst we were away. As was the case the last time they house sat for us everything was really well looked after, the house was immaculate and the animals had taken them to their hearts. Steven had even braved the elements to look after some gardening for us. Mabel, our dog, in particular was sad to see them leave. We were delighted to find Steve and family to housesit for us and look after our dog and cat. They visited us before the booking to make sure we were all a good fit. They inspired us with confidence in every aspect of the journey. We had regular updates and they went the extra mile to help our neighbour and do lots of helpful things for us whilst we were away. We cam back to very happy healthy pets and a wonderfully tidy and clean house - can't recommend them highly enough

This was the first time we have used house/pet sitters and Steven, Judith and the girls did not disappoint. They were a delight and we found them extremely easy to get on with. They looked after our two elderly cats with great empathy which gave us peace of mind while we were away. This was our first foray into engaging housesitters and we could not be more pleased. Steven and his family were a delight from start to finish – the house was in perfect order when we got back, all the animals were in great shape, and communication was excellent throughout. Steven had also evidently spent a lot of time in the garden, which was way beyond the call of duty, and it showed – the lawn has never looked so smart. They have done an amazing job, the animals have been looked after as requested with updates and pictures sent throughout the week and we returned to an immaculate house. Just the best house sitters anyone could ask for! Steve and his family looked after our home, family of pets and even gardened. Quite honestly our home looked better than it did when we left. Quite clearly our dogs really bonded with them, in fact our one dog Bodi seems a bit down now they've gone. Wouldn't hesitate to have them house It again!

Steven, Judith and the girls did a fabulous job of looking after our house, pets and garden. We had no complaints about anything, and they consistently did more than we could have expected to make sure everything was ok and safe. Our house and garden were immaculate when we returned home, and even our dog was heartbroken to see them leave. They are lovely people and we would definitely recommend them as housesitters and hope to use their services again in future.

Wow! That is all I can say about Steve and family. I think we hit the house sitter jackpot here! We returned last night to a house that was sparkling, and the outdoor space was in a much better way than when we left it! Highly recommended and awesome guests!

Steve, Judith, and their two delightful daughters took care of our home and miniature dachshund, Pippa for six weeks while we were away in Australia during February and March 2023. They arrived 48 hours before we departed which was very helpful as regards briefing them however, they were so efficient I'm sure it would have worked fine if that hadn't been possible. Stephen was a most efficient house sitter and the house with all its foibles was very well cared for. As with all old houses it had problems including a pheasant crashing through a window but all was dealt with happily. He kept us up to date with comprehensive reports of actions taken. The family was considerate with energy consumption too. I would highly recommend them.

Steven is wonderful! Very caring responsible person. We felt very comfortable leaving our pets and house in Steven's care. Communication was very clear and quick. Steven went out of his way to make sure our house sit went ahead due to double booking and we thank him very much for his commitment. Can't recommend Steven highly enough!!

I can't recommend Steven and Jo highly enough, their communication, care of our home and garden were amazing. They looked after our animals like they were their own, it was such a relief to be know our home and animals were in such good hands while we were travelling.
