Hello - we are Mike and Viv Wright - we are an active retired couple. We live in a small village in Cheshire. We had a Springer Spaniel -Ben for 15 years. Mike helped out on a farm at weekends and school holidays when he was younger, so we are both used to and like being with animals.
We are experienced house / pet sitters, We began house sitting on our trips to New Zealand in 2018 and 2019 and loved doing so, we met some really nice people and lovely animals, in fact we enjoyed it so much we have decided to do it back home in the UK .
You can rest assured that your property and pets will be loved and cared for while in our care when you are away from home.
Viv and Mike were lovely. Extremely easy to communicate with and nothing seemed to phase them. We came back to very happy dogs and goats and a house that was left immaculately. They instilled us with confidence about the care of the animals and so we felt relaxed going away. I would definitely recommend them.
Mike & Viv House sat for us in the summer. They arrived the night before for supper and we spent the evening getting to know them. They were an utterly delightful, intelligent couple, and we knew we had made the right decision. Viv and Mike were excellent sitters. They arrived the day before we left in order to familiarise themselves with the dogs and the house. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for them and that gave me great confidence in then being great sitters for our dogs. They left the house just as they found it, I am pleased that they enjoyed their stay and I would highly recommend them as sitters.
Viv and Mike are experienced sitters and clearly love dogs.
They arrived the night before we left as arranged so that they could meet the girls and I could go through everything they needed to know.
They are both lovely friendly people and I went away with no feelings of concern. They took great care of the girls, (2 lively springer spaniels) and of my garden which needed watering due to the ridiculous heatwave we were having. Perfect weather for A mini break.

What a lovely couple they were so friendly and chatty, they had really looked after everything while we were away the dogs were taken out a couple of times a day on long walks and they also sent time with them in the garden playing ball games, and the house was left immaculate. What a pleasure it was have Mike & Viv taking care of our 3 terriers and home, on our return the place was place was immaculate and the dogs were well cared for. No hesitation to recommend.

Viv & Mike are perfect house sitters. We enjoyed an evening supper together before we left on our weeks' holiday. Our house & garden were so well looked after whilst we were away, green house & various pots plants were all watered. The donkeys & cats looked extremely content upon our return. My first experience of using housesitting. Viv and Mike were wonderful. Their experience was very reassuring and were lovely with the dogs. The dogs were happy and relaxed when I arrived home and had clearly enjoyed themselves. The house was spotless and Mike even mowed the lawn and repaired a tricky door handle. Viv and Mike have a lovely connection with dogs and are perfect people to leave your treasured furry friends with.
We finally met Viv and Mike in March after our January holiday was rescheduled and they had kindly agreed to the new dates. As soon as we met them we knew the dogs (and house) were in expert hands. Viv and Mike arrived the night before the sit to familiarize themselves with house, garden and of course Poli and Kiti. We have a holiday let and they kindly put out the welcome pack and managed a problem with the heating, excellent. On our return the dogs had clearly been well cared for and the house was spotless. Mike and Viv were really excellent House/dog sitters. This was our first time using a house sitter and their communications were first class. They really looked after both the dogs and the house and put our minds at rest.

Viv and Mike were excellent house sitters and I'm so glad we chose them. Roddy is not the easiest dog to look after but they had just the right attitude with him and had no problems. I couldn't believe how clean the house was and how tidy the garden was when i got home. I would definitely recommend them as housesitters.

Viv and Mike were the best the dogs were really happy and settled with them. My house was even tidier than when I left (thank you was so nice coming home to that) and very happy dogs. I would highly recommend them. I would have them again in a heart beat
Its good to know that we can leave the animals with people like Mike and Vivienne while we are away. They are fantastic and its a pleasure to have meet this lovely people. score 12/10.
