I am a Dutch lady, fully vaccinated for covid 19 and now retired after working for the Dutch Government and I'm living in the Netherlands in my own house. I now take care of my neighbours house, garden and cat called Kasper about 3 times a year and each time for 8 weeks while they are in their house in Spain.
When i was living in Trinidad for 5 years I did house sitting for the Dutch Embassy and EU employees while they went back to the Netherlands for extended holidays.

Nelleke is an amazing, well travelled person who is great to talk to as she has so many travelling stories to tell. We had asked Nelleke to come and house sit for us, so didn't get to spend as much time with her as I wanted. She fitted in to our family really well, and we clicked with her straight away. August 31 2024. I am a non-smoker, reliable, clean, quiet and very independent person and will look after your pet, house and garden with care and responsibility.
It was a pleasure having Nelleke as our sitter. She took good care of both our cats and house, leaving everything clean and tidy. Nelleke provided good communication throughout her stay, making us feel comfortable that our house and cats were well looked after while we were away.
I highly recommend Nelleke to anybody looking for a reliable and respectful sitter.
Nelleke was a brilliant house sitter and we can not rate he too highly.
She was very caring to all our pets: our dog, who clearly adored her; a new kitten and our goldfish. She tended the garden and greenhouse as well as looking after our largish house. Everything was better than expected on our return.
Nelleke is very organised, efficient, kind and considerate and good at keeping in contact. She is also very good company.
I can't recommend Nelleke highly enough as a house/pet sitter. Communication prior to the sit was excellent. On the day Nelleke was friendly and we were immediately at ease and relaxed about her looking after the house. Our cat was happy and relaxed with her from the start. While we were away the communication continued to be very good. House (and cat) on return were all in perfect order. Would have no problem at all trusting Nelleke again in the future.
