Hello,
We would be delighted if you would give us the opportunity to house-sit for you.. We had our first few sits booked Last year, but were unable to proceed due to Covid . However we have now completed 3 house sits , and have a few more booked in.

If you were to list the ideal qualities you are looking for in a couple to whom you could entrust your treasured pets, home and garden is it possible your list would look anything like this ?

The ideal couple would be :-
kind, caring and experienced animal lovers
physically active
responsible and trustworthy
adaptable and flexible,
house-proud and capable of dealing with problems which may arise
good communicators with fun-loving natures, who would keep you posted
enthusiastic gardeners
car owners
non-smokers

We have owned, loved and cared for pets throughout our lives - ranging from dogs , cats and chickens to myriad pets belonging to our children and grandchildren - hamsters, guinea pigs , rabbits , mice, tortoises .........The opportunity to look after your animal(s) will give us great pleasure. We are physically very active and both love dog walking and other forms of exercise.
During our careers in teaching and nursing we have needed to rise to many challenges , whilst inspiring trust and confidence in others. You can be sure that we will not let you down when it comes to looking after your pets and your property.
As homeowners ourselves we are aware of just how important your home and garden are to you. We can assure you that we will treat them with respect and that you will find them in perfect condition on your return.
If there are any other things we may be able to help with whilst we are sitting for you , we would be happy to discuss them with you. We are willing to turn our hands to most things.

Grant and Alison were absolutely brilliant. They communicated well and understood the needs of our anxious dog and explained they had plenty of experience with similar situations. The house was left in very good order with thoughtful touches for our return. They had even walked her in the morning before our lunchtime arrival knowing we would be tired from the long flight and drive home. Our dog seemed to absolutely adore them both. We were lucky enough to have Grant & Alison as our very first house sitters. We had to change our dates slightly but that was no problem to them. We have two young cats who were just learning the ropes of being outside & we were a bit worried how Grant & Alison would cope - We needn't have been concerned, they soon had the cats giving out cuddles and purrs, they must be cat whisperers,! Grant and Alison came to look after our dog and home during September and we couldn't have been happier. They were accommodating with a change of date, they communicated really well with us before and during the sit and they left Louis and the house in great shape afterwards.
