Hello animal. lovers. I am a fit and active retiree. In the past my household has been a home to cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, fish and stick insects!. My daughter also had a pony that mum got roped into caring for but I loved it! Happily retired, I am very fond of gardening and walking here in the Peak District and love to venture further afield in the UK and abroad. I also enjoy walking my friends dogs and have looked after their pets and homes whilst they've been away. So House Sitters UK is a perfect match for me.

If you would like a reference re my reliability and commitment to looking after your home, pets and plants then I am more than happy to provide one.
Looking forward to meeting some loved and happy animals and making it a possibility for people to go away and know their animals are happy and cared for in their own homes.

It was lovely to have Ruby back again, this time looking after the dogs and the cats, quite a handful that Ruby took in her stride. Having never left the dogs before it was a great comfort to have them well cared for with someone who had been before and all were happy and relaxed when we got back home. The house and garden had been cared for and we would be very happy if Ruby were to come back to us again. Thank you Ruby

Great communication before and during the sit. Walt and Ted immediately loved Ruby and we were happy to leave them in her care. On our return the house was left very clean as we had left it . We would be very happy to welcome Ruby back in the future

Ruby was laid back and warm and both Bill and I took to her straight away (Bill was her usual wary self!). Her communication befor and during her stay was reassuring and I'd happily have her back to look after Bill again.

Ruby was great at communicating she arrived on time and was here to be shown the ropes before we went away. She kept us informed throughout her stay and was very caring especially when one of our cats had an injury. The house was left clean and tidy and we are looking forward to her coming back to us in June when she is taking on our dogs and cats.
