Hi,
I am an animal lover (especially dogs of all shapes and sizes, though fond of cats, horses and more or less any creatures really), and am looking to stay in the UK during July and August 2024, possibly longer, combining taking care of someone's pets with working online and hopefully getting in a bit of nice walking too. I live in Spain most of the time, but have tended to spend recent summers back in the UK, visiting friends and family, sailing, walking, etc. I had a few sits through this site last summer (reviews below), as well as others in Spain, and I have a good amount of experience looking after animals, having had my own beautiful Samoyed/Belgian shepherd-cross for many years, and as the go-to person among friends and family when a dog/cat-sitter is called for. I'd be more than happy to provide any information about myself you might need (within reason!). My son, who adores animals and who also has plenty of experience handling big dogs, may be with me for some of the time in the summer, though obviously he would only come on a house sit with me if that were previously agreed with the owners. Please feel free to contact me even if the sit is outside these dates, as I may be available at other times, e.g. possibly Easter.
