Hello, we are a retired couple, former civil servants, living in Lancashire and were foster carers for 17 years.
We began house sitting a couple of years ago and really enjoy the experience of not only caring for all the pets, but exploring the UK.
We had pets ourselves in our younger years, a dog, and 2 cats, who both lived to 21 years, and are registered hosts with a dog sitting agency in our local area and provide 'doggy holidays' whilst owners are away.
We are happy to consider house sits in any area of the UK although we prefer sits of up to around 10 days.
We are both non-smokers and fully Covid vaccinated.

Christine and John were wonderful house/pet sitters. The care, kindness and understanding they showed for Tilly our senior girl was very much appreciated. We felt very fortunate to have found them. Our home and garden were both immaculate when we returned. Christine and John are super friendly and we felt at ease as soon as we met them. Christine and John are first rate house sitters and come highly recommended from both Neil and I and the mutley crew. The house was kept clean and tidy and nothing seemed to phase them, even our unexpected early return home. Our dogs loved them so much that we didn't even get our usual singing from them on our return, they were far too busy having fun with John. Perfect couple who have loving looked after our dog Bracken and cared immaculately for our home, whilst the have enjoyed the Cheshire countryside. Communication with John and Christine was excellent from the beginning, they kindly called into meet us before the sit as they were passing, this certainly gave us reassurance as we are very new to having house sitters. Christine and John were totally wonderful. They're very calm, lovely people who took their week of housesitting very seriously. They looked after Boris, our dog, beautifully and the house and garden were in great order when we got back. We knew as soon as we met them that we were leaving everything in great hands. We would highly recommend the Christine and John experience!
John and Christine were fantastic as we really do have a small zoo and we live out in the sticks.
We knew as soon as they arrived everything would be fine and it was.
Highly recommend both of them as the are lovely people and the animals took to them immediately even our difficult cat!
Would be delighted to have them back again.

John and Christine took great care of our dog Mika, cat Mollie and our home and garden. We found the house clean and tidy, as we left it.
They also seemed friendly, and easy to get on with.
We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a house sitter.
Christine and John house-sat for us for 5 days 4 nights.
They are a lovely warm couple, we got an instant sense that we could trust them.
They gave us an update whilst we were away, about the cats.
On our return everything was great. The cats were well looked after, the house was spotless and they waited for us to return so that we could talk about their stay.
I would recommend them for anyone and definitely have them back.
